This work was recorded in July and August 2020 at the Pasadena Conservatory of Music, as part of the series "MODERN BEAUTY with Gloria Cheng". The project took place during the Coronavirus pandemic and was supported, in part, by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture.

Billy Childs is a brilliant composer. He evokes such color and timbre. Autumn in Moving Pictures is one of my favorite albums of all time.
