I’m a biology teacher and a baker, and dude, to workshop this and then explain it so clearly to non-scientists is so brilliant and such a rare trait. This channel should have so many more followers.

Agreed! As a chemist and teacher (with a biology background) I was absolutely ENRAPT this entire video. I loved the way things were explained.
This is a solid example of science communication (which is a field).
But also? I was just in wonder the whole time 🥺

I am 35 and have been on TH-cam for years and watched hundreds of videos for hundreds of different topics and DIYs. I can probably count on two hands the number of times I have left a comment but this deserves one more than all the others! I thought when you began the apartment comparison that I was going to get lost and close the video. Then you floored me with the way you explained the analogy! The whole video was amazing and you rock!

Awww, that’s so great. I was worried about the complexity of the analogies but you’ve made me feel a lot better about them 😀

As a science buff and a professional cook, a lot of this was long-winded, but the truth is you explained the processes in a clear and concise manner, without making the process *too* difficult for your average home cook. Still, I find myself wondering about the reactivity of basified chlorophyll (chlorophyllin) to UV. I loved your 'what goes up must come down' analogy to quantum energy states and photon emission.

SCIENCE CAKE! WOW. Just WOW. I was captivated for that entire video! My son has a glow dance party coming up and this is AMAZING! I had no idea this was even possible. I'm doing a black cake with neon chocolate splatters, but perhaps I can use this buttercream for the inside and make the inside of the cake glow too. What a phenomenal discovery! I am flabbergasted at your effort and ability. I wonder how long the buttercream would last with this in it? Can I freeze it? Does the glow diminish over time? I don't suppose you tested those things, I might have to in the weeks leading up to the party. Wow again.
