The series summarized
The ability to farm minions as a mid laner is such an overrated talent because 70% of the time, any top level mid player can out CS another depending on the champion matchup alone. And for the 30% of the time when it could go either way, having a mid laner with s 15 CS lead isn’t going to win your team the game when they struggle more then other opposing laners at all the more important aspects of the game (Team fighting, 1 vs 1, mechanics)

The best part was game 2 under 20 mins. I think this is the second time I am seeing them lose under 20 minutes.
Its when GenG realised that Ksante can just mark Kennen on the Flank and he doesnt even get to play the game and G2s whole compisition is effectively useless... Oh yeah and Asol does nothing Pre 3 items and if he doesnt get to stand still to do it.
I mean they almost lost G4 as well, if Caps wasn't inting they had a good chance at taking it home
@@PeoplePleaser578 Aurelion Sol needs a front-to-back composition to serve as a DPS threat. He *could* do that pre 20-min only if it rushes Liandrys and use Q's low cooldown to consistently poke. Honestly, I don't know why Caps keeps picking him if he keeps losing with him.

The funniest guy I've ever seen
It feels like teams do this thing where each individual player picks their champ but with varying levels of team comp understanding. For example, Yike blind Nidalee is probably because in his mind she has "no bad matchups" in isolation so shes blindable. Then Caps thinks really hard what is good into enemy and with what he has and goes Liss.
@@jasonhardin2148 i think the Liss pick is better conceptually and thematically than Nidalee in a sense that Liss is more flexible and pairs with a lot more styles of play
Yeah like the idea is two fold I guess. First, Nidalee is supposed to have a strong early where she can invade and pressure, and Liss is good at facilitating that. Second (which kind of ties into the first) is that in skirmishes it's easy to burst down a target theoretically, like if Liss ccs a target then Nidalee can easily follow up with spear and one shot. Then they can start the snowball as well. That is the idea behind these picks and I think conceptually it makes sense.
@rafayetrasti6191 ye but you're picking nidalee to hunt people down before you know who they're playing. If nidalee cant win the skirmishes or cant kill them then she isnt doing anything whereas Liss doesn't have a theme that outright beats her because she has hard cc, safe lane, good damage, pretty good linear scaling. My point is mostly if Yike wanted to play nidalee he should have made it more of a last pick to ensure she can actually play the game whereas Caps picking Liss early is good because it's flexible and non-committal
@@aircatcher6891 It has nothing to do with champs or the draft more to do with players piloting them how do you explain Caps getting solo killed lvl 2 on Liss vs Chovy Ahri when Liss is thematically counter vs both Ahri and Leblanc aka dash champs. We also saw in game 2 Chovy Liss get 1 for 1 with no flash and a perfect gank of Yikes vs Caps Annie. Just accept it Western goat is washed and Chovy is far better player mechanically than him now.

Chovy got tired of playing K'Sante mid and he brought out mid trist so he can farm both, not just minions.
It's interesting cause I remember Chovy saying a couple years back his favorite champs to play were bruisers and yet they don't farm minions as well as most carries.
@@JasonJia11 thats why hes one of the best on csing, he practiced so much on farming good with bruisers, which in turn made him farm even better with champs that has no issue on farming

Same as winter split he was in very good form up until about halfway through Spring and then he and BB started slumping a bit. This narrative that Caps has been crap for over a year is just that - A narrative.

This might be an EU Copium take.
But since G2 was only really the 4th/3rd best team in Spring, this actually gives me a lot of hope for MAD if they don't choke.
Even tho Gen.G was miles ahead of G2, G2 still managed to get them to stumble a few times through their early aggressive play. And MAD has a similar style but with better coordination and draft.
If MAD doesn't choke, then their series vs T1 and maybe vs Gen.G will be utter bangers even if they don't win.

@@Marco-qt5nv Game 3 he was disconnected after the stomping he already dissed out thought his team could easily win 4v5 against these Gold2. But then before Game 4 he realized these Gold2 can actually punish mistakes and not NPCs so he had to reconnect again.
I don't see how G2 was ever Game 4 as long as Gen.g had hands. No tank, predictable CC flank, and low range into a Tristana x Jinx. The failed Baron flank from Brokenblade was pretty much the story of the game. G2 had 1 win con and it was to flank Kennen into a fight. It failed and that was the game. G2 didn't draft a comp that could fight into that range any other way.

@@Jissen05 Not True Guma is an excellent ADC on his own right ofcourse he excels when his support is best in the world but that doesn't mean he is not world class himself. Keria can't carry a diamond player no matter how great he is. The ADC he is paired with needs to be at least Korean challenger level or above for the duo to be excellent and Guma is excellent but I believe Keria the better one between them.
