Igi jegede Omowura. Ayinla
This man is music. His command of Yoruba languages and the blending of the talking drum are magnificent
Agreed ,you are absolutely right.
More of egba dialect than the general Oyo dialect
@@akindelejosepholowojobi803
He actually spoke classic Yoruba with a perfect blend of his native dialect.
That’s absolutely admissible by all standard.❤

Evergreen Legend Best of the Best..RIP
National Icon Baba Ayinla Omowura, Nice sweet Yoruba melody.
I so much love his music that I got it played in Igbo land when I married an ibo lady
Alhaji Ayinla omowura's music is undoubtedly beyond just genre dynamics, it's simply poetry unleashed. Quite reminiscent of TUPAC SHAKUR if you can only reason it that way it does make it simple in my opinion.
Waoh! That's cool.
Legend
Ayinla omowura , what a great musician Rest In Peace
I love all alhaji ayinla omowura vol track
I love ayinla omowura music
Egbaland and the Yoruba nation owe it a duty to keep the legacy of Alhaji Ayinla Waidi Omowura alive for posterity. He was a Platinum or Gold recording artiste on the EMI label. I remember vividly the presentation ceremony at the National Theater in the 70s. He was an icon of apala music and music in general within the borders of Nigeria. Yes, he has gone but his music lives on. His contribution to the science of Yoruba folklore music remains a discipline of study in the Department of Sociology in our tertiary institution. Anigilaje Ayinla Waidi Omowura, continue to rest in the bosom of the Almighty.
Nice

This drumming is out of this world...almost got into a trance.. Such beauty must be preserved. God bless you for the upload.
Adewole onilu Ola in action
Unfortunately the drummer here was Yebere Adisa aka Mr Lanko. He took over briefly when Adewole Onilu Ola left the band due to irreconcilable differences. The rift lasted for about 8years.
@@samuelsunday5755 Thanks for this bit of information, it's difficult to locate biographic information about some of these incredible musicians.
@@samuelsunday5755 Vague info
@@samuelsunday5755You are wrong on the length of the rift between the two. I believe it lasted about 2 years.

What's there not to like ,Essential Ayinla
i am here after i watched the movie Ayinla with love from Zimbabwe
Wonderful song, Ayinla rest in peace
Absolument magnifique. La quintessence de la culture Yorouba en matière musicale. Avec Harouna Ishola, il fait partie de la crème des crèmes.
+Idohou Ananon I had ten posts of Haruna Ishola, but because of copyrights infringements complaints from his son's lawyer, I was forced to take them down.
Idohou Ananon . merci beaucoup
Absolutely magnificent!!!
He was forever good in his days. Yes he was good. Very good indeed. R.I.P. Ayinla.
Ayinla the great!!!!
Evergreen
Ayinla Omowura is an indisputable Apala music master in his lifetime and up till now. I am one of his music fan IP till now. May his soul rest in peace.
A UNIQUE LEGEND THROUGH AND THROUGH. IRREPLACEABLE, RIP.

One of the best
He was a brilliant music ICON
Yorubas have gone far in many things but we don't unit that's the problems we have God really bless us with many things
Here in 2020 enjoying Ayinla songs.
I can reel out all this guy’s albums off my head....all of which I have......that is how much I love his music. My folks used to call me ‘Taoreed omo Adedigba’, one of his favorite lyrical expressions.....R.I.P. Eegun Mogaji!
Ayinla waheed, egun magaji. My favourite is 'iku' He gave such a vivid description of death I never heard of yet. Gbogbo oju re pon koko, gbogbo ara re lo n d'eru baayan (its eyes were crimson red, its embodiment scares commesurately)...
Great lyricist, great performance, great preserver of Yoruba culture.
Pls in which record did he sing about Omo Pupa ni mushin. What is its title.

How on earth this guy hasn't be properly immortalize in Nigeria and especially in Ogun State is beyond me. Are people in authority deaf?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How we haven't a documentary or a movie about him is crazy. Oh they are waiting for someone from Hollywood to do this for them? Just as they do with Fela? Crazy!!!!
