The Gone with the wynns did one on lightening and rods might wanna look it over, and considering you might head back to the Bahama's weather systems. or the US The Trimaran looks great! I'm sure you'll be fine once you get into your own new trimaran. Enjoy it, you only live once!
I never could have predicted just how much he’d love sailing. He’s become the biggest sailing nerd and I couldn’t be happier about this (*except for when he keeps me up late at night talking to me about boat designs and speeds.. non stop 🤣)
This channel excels on the sea. Sailing is why most of us come along. Your plan to sail the 40 and 50 ft rigs is a great one and very interesting to us sailors and land lubbers alike. Excellent episode folks!
4:46 min mark!!! I love it! Riley saying Holy Toledo, as a person living in Toledo, Ohio. Its cool to hear someone else not from here say it!!! Love you guys💖🤗🥰
Lenny didn’t seem very impressed with the netting for lack of bounce. Happy to see you’ve got a fellow Canadian on board to help with the boys. I can’t wait to see your 60’ boat. Next week should be interesting when you switch over to the 50’ boat to see what it’s like to handle.
Love the Kook comment. My grandmother used to tell me… “Green and growing, ripe and rotten”. Meaning learning something new everyday keeps you young and invigorated. When you think you know it all, you become ripe and rotten. Have loved following the SLV. Inspiring!
My son lives in Thailand near Phuket…we are from Annapolis Maryland…. I was there a few years ago it’s a very beautiful country and the oceans are amazing… I went snorkeling and it was magnificent… enjoy your time there, your kiddos are really growing fast.. and are adorable… stay safe and keep the videos coming
So happy to see you guys sailing again on a Trimaran from the same people who are building your boat and figuring it all out next week should really be a step up.
Omg That was SO FUN! I've missed sailing too! What a sweet " little " yacht! Hehe Also, I love that Lenny is aware of how the boat feels as you tack. He's a Sailor!
Maybe all will become clearer but I cannot see how a catamaran, with less proper living space for a crew member or nanny and safe deck space for the children to play, is better for a growing family than the double hull. It may be a great boat but maybe not a great home. I hope I am wrong because I love following this amazingly likeable, charismatic family on their adventures.
It's great to see you all back on the water. The boys seem like they prefer to sailing. Can't wait to see what adventures you have in store when you're on your boat.
For children growing up in what could be called cramped conditions, their behaviour overall is a testament to you guys and the nanny. Good job! hope my kids are as happy as yours seem to be. (i know they must have their moments but dont we all!)
You guys are so courageous and I truly admire you. Absolutely love you guys. You are beautiful spirits and wonderful parents. I can not believe how big Lenny and Darwin are getting! It's crazy to watch you all grow before our eyes. Sending love!
I love watching you guys sail, it soothes my soul as corny as that sounds. It just resets the stresses in life and makes you feel rejuvenated and wanting more!
Another fabulous update. Thanks for blessing us with your singing again. I do like hearing about sailing even though I have never sailed before. I love the water anyway I can get it though.
Great to see you guys back sailing. One question that comes to mind is, how do you feel not having the huge covered area out the back like you had on La Vagabond. I feel that was such a great area for the kids to play and also a great place to enter and exit the boat from. I am a huge fan of your show, and I loved La Vagabond, but I’m just not sure if the new boat is going to be as family friendly and comfortable to live aboard as La Vagabond. I understand that it is a much faster vessel and that’s the reason you changed, so I hope at the end of the day, especially for the boys sake, that it is as good quality living for them as La Vagabond was.
it all sounds too good be true what about the lack of stanchion post and netting to stop the kids falling overboard and the lackbof covered outside space ,and tris can be fast but sail uncomfortable.
At 54 I miss sailing. It's expensive but isn't living .. So saving ..... Looking networking trying!! Thanks for inspiring me through 2 house fires homelessness an looking forward to better. I choose happiness everyday! Envision a sailing life in the future! I have been working on a tug boat cooking an night crew.... Thanks you 2 beautiful adults an darlin boy's. Grateful for the wisdom shared each week. I appreciate your hard work an shared community thru this channel!! ✌🏼💗😊⛵
I'm sorry you feel you're stuck. I was my mom's caregiver for 2+ years until she passed, and as heartbreaking and taxing as that time was, it was a blessing for me. I hope you can find peace.
Aaahhhh Elayna ! Thanks for playing one of my favorite John Prine songs!! The tri looks awesome and seemingly handles with great response. Not sure I'd like tiller steering on a boat that with that much mass....but it looks like you got into the dock with no problems Well done! Loved the chat with Riley and Erik!!
Angel From Montgomery is a GREAT song! Did I miss something, or did they not show the autopilot system? You would think they have one on this vessel...
Super cool! I started from the same marina in 2007 and even spend time at your first anchorage. Great to see what it looks like today, brings back so many lifechanging memories
Yay back to sailing! I’d be lyin’ if I said I didn’t miss you all sailing the Seven Seas! Factory tours, rental houses, new scooters, exploring Bali are all interesting in their own way but it’s the sailing adventures for me!
Honestly I love you guys. I have been watching your channel since the start. I honestly don’t know a time where I haven’t watched your videos the very moment they came out. Really excited to watch the new season you guys are finding yourselves in. I’ve got two boys and it’s great to see you guys living your dreams with your kids.
It’ll be interesting - even on a bigger tri - to figure out the space outside (deck) for two kids to roam and play, while being safe. What’s the longest time frame would the kids be ok on the boat without cabin fever? “It’s not bouncy…”
Another very entertaining sailing video, as well as informative. 21st Century sailboats seem to almost sail themselves with many of the creature comforts of home, including advanced safety features. I love it all, especially when sailing with your family. I sure wish I had all the bells and whistles on the schooner I was decking on during the 1970's, that the Rapidio has. Stay safe and stay groovy.
Wow!..looks like the blue angels coming thru blue water...amazing boat wish I was there with you and the family. You make me feel dancing across the waters...love this new boat.😀😘🌷🌷🌷
Love your videos, and I think you made a super good boat choice. What a amazing sailing machine. Awesome filming and editing skills, and have the opportunity to follow along with your family is amazing. I love everything from catching lobster to sailing. Keep up your amazing work.
I am not sure if its just us, but god we love it when you sing Elayna. You have such a beautiful voice! Cannot wait to sail around Thailand it looks incredible. Thanks for sharing another epic video ❤
the new boat is really pretty, but i hate to sat this, i think i liked the old CAT better, it looked like it had more room. enjot the new one and HAPPY SAILING
I really like how you guys were presented with this unique chance to sail a 40 and - soon to be - a 50. Its like learning to walk before you run. I enjoyed your 40 experience and Im looking forward to your 50 experience. It would be incredible if you get to try a 60, like yours, but that opportunity may not present itself. But the 40 and 50 experience is priceless. One comment. I would talk to the Rapido folks about the noise you experienced from the ropes. I can tell you that it may feel minor right now, but in a very short time, it will no longer be a minor concern. That would drive me nuts!
Thanks you both for showing us the 40 I have been thinking about get one for some time now. It's looks like we will be going to look into it. Cheers again from Craig.
So cool to see that you have someone from BC on board! I have lived my whole life on Vancouver island! Welcome aboard leyla! You should put the bug in La Vegabondes ear to come see BC for themselves😂❤
Too small boat when compared to your old one....I really loved that boat, I started watching how people live while sailing both catamaran and monohull.... waiting to see how your new boat life suits with trimaran
So glad to see Darwin getting back to normal and continuing on track/ahead in some areas in his development. I know he gave you all a scare as well as your viewers who have grown to love your amazing boys. They both seem so much happier on the water than landlocked. Like Daddy, seeming to thrive with a lot of stimulation in the great outdoors.
Another Canadian Nanny🇨🇦💕 That looked fun guys! Well done! I’ve discovered you live like octopuses - balancing kids, sails, lines, tiller, shopping, cooking, navigation, boat building, passport things, fun …🐙🍃Well, Octopuses with a million arms 😅. Loved this video!
You guys look like you're having such a rough time on that little boat. Sigh.... Hope all is well with you and can't wait to see what the 5o is like!!!
I use surf mud! Ha ha I got excited when you did that part ! I actually use it as foundation every single day. ! Just thought I’d add that I only use a thin layer so it doesn’t feel like mud on your face but it still protects 😊
Most of our adult life was based on weekend and vacation sailing in the Great Northwest. My wife still comments that she slept best while we were quietly rocking at anchor in a safe bay.
What a sweet boat! Elayna the drone footage is so beautiful and I just love your family. Thank you for taking us all along. Can’t wait to see the 50’ Rapido and then your 60’ will definitely feel like a real home. Blessings and much Aloha 🙏💜🌎☮️🌎💜🙏🛥🛥🛥
I’ve been watching your channel for a long time now and I loooove it! I’ve also purchased athletic greens because of your channel- I’m now obsessed and I’m also a TH-camr. Thank u for creating amazing content weekly!!!
That's amazing sailing performance, wow! So cool to pull 8 knots, in 9 knots with flat seas and boat! Must be a bit of a challenge going from ship to shore, to flying to boating on different boats in different places, all with the kids in tow. Pretty sweet to get to chat with the designer, wondering how many boats Rapido will produce a year and if they will be able to keep up with orders. Was also wondering if they would license the boat design for building elsewhere(USA), I imagine they would be great for the Bahamas and cruising the Caribbean.

Hi. I don’t sail, nor whether will, just love seeing your adventures and beautiful family! I do think I would miss a ships wheel though!?
The Gone with the wynns did one on lightening and rods might wanna look it over, and considering you might head back to the Bahama's weather systems. or the US The Trimaran looks great! I'm sure you'll be fine once you get into your own new trimaran. Enjoy it, you only live once!
How does one apply to help crew / nanny? Sincerely a Canadian 🤍
I just started making TH-cam videos. Does anyone have advice on how I can improve?
Really cool theyre letting ya have a go witn the 40 and 50 footers
Everytime I get to see the video 1min after it being uploaded its like opening gifts as a kid. It feels super special
This is why I love Mondays❤
Oh wow, this made me so happy to hear 🥲 thank you. We put so much effort into each ep so this means a lot to us.

It’s great to see how much Riley loves what he does
I never could have predicted just how much he’d love sailing. He’s become the biggest sailing nerd and I couldn’t be happier about this (*except for when he keeps me up late at night talking to me about boat designs and speeds.. non stop 🤣)
😭🤣💕
So on your new Trimiran, will you have rear seats installed on the outer hulls? Seems ,Ike phenomenal place to sit under sail

OMG, Layla feels like she could totally be Elayna´s sister - she moves the same way, laughs the same way, and has the same vibes. Awesome!!!!!
Love the Kook comment. My grandmother used to tell me… “Green and growing, ripe and rotten”. Meaning learning something new everyday keeps you young and invigorated. When you think you know it all, you become ripe and rotten. Have loved following the SLV. Inspiring!
Love it when Elayna sings and plays!
Content is the best it’s been.. editing is also on point - impressed how you’ve grown as TH-camrs! Really great stuff.

Yes ONTARION right on! As I am also from Ontario Canada. so happy you guys are getting this chance!
It's great to see you all back on the water. The boys seem like they prefer to sailing. Can't wait to see what adventures you have in store when you're on your boat.

(i know they must have their moments but dont we all!)
LOL 21:39 I can't wait! The learning curve of a new rocket boat has never happened to anyone else ever!!! THANKS GUYS:)
Great to see you sailing again, and Riley’s smiling face. 😍
You guys are so courageous and I truly admire you.
Absolutely love you guys.
You are beautiful spirits and wonderful parents. I can not believe how big Lenny and Darwin are getting! It's crazy to watch you all grow before our eyes.

The first comment that addresses the reality of cruising with kids …
it all sounds too good be true what about the lack of stanchion post and netting to stop the kids falling overboard and the lackbof covered outside space ,and tris can be fast but sail uncomfortable.

I am stuck full time caregiving. These videos help me escape. Thanks, guys. Hope to join you at sea one day.
Ross, I’m sure you are very appreciated for all you do💞…Dreams do come true🙋🏻♀️
I'm sorry you feel you're stuck.
I was my mom's caregiver for 2+ years until she passed, and as heartbreaking and taxing as that time was, it was a blessing for me. I hope you can find peace.
Appreciated wouldn't that be great 👍🏼
It is a heavy job, be sure you walk everyday, even if it is for few mins, :>)
Not full time caregiver for me but between work and caregiver it’s hard to travel.
So great to see you back on the water!! Definitely your happy place!
Can’t wait to see you on the new 60ft Trimaran!!
Cheers
Derek
So good to see you all back where you belong. This episode was like watering four neglected plants and watching them burst into bloom.
It’s so nice to see you are sea again. You both look so much more at ease and relaxed. The boys seem to catch on pretty quickly too
Aaahhhh Elayna ! Thanks for playing one of my favorite John Prine songs!! The tri looks awesome and seemingly handles with great response. Angel From Montgomery is a GREAT song! Did I miss something, or did they not show the autopilot system? You would think they have one on this vessel...
I live in the Pennsylvania woods with my family, it's snowing,it's fun to watch you guys sailing
Exciting to see you back on the water doing what you love! Be safe.
Super cool! I started from the same marina in 2007 and even spend time at your first anchorage. Great to see what it looks like today, brings back so many lifechanging memories
Great to see you guys looking so happy and relaxed on the water, it truly is where you’re meant to be! Asia adventures have been stunning so far.
Your singing voice is amazing, Eylana! I love the soft tones of it! ❤️🇨🇦
Yay back to sailing! I’d be lyin’ if I said I didn’t miss you all sailing the Seven Seas! Factory tours, rental houses, new scooters, exploring Bali are all interesting in their own way but it’s the sailing adventures for me!

Been dealing with a flood in my basement. So great to see you guys out sailing again😊
Love the new Tri, and I think JP was smiling down on you while singing Angel From Montgomery to everyone.
Angel From Montgomery is one of my favorite songs ever. Thank you for that beautiful rendition!
It’ll be interesting - even on a bigger tri - to figure out the space outside (deck) for two kids to roam and play, while being safe. What’s the longest time frame would the kids be ok on the boat without cabin fever? “It’s not bouncy…”
Indeed - the ability for them to move between saloon and sheltered cockpit is gone - a companionway in a seaway now beckons …
It’s a brand new net though. Once they start wearing theirs in, it’ll have more “bounce”.
Yall are great. Love Andrew Huberman podcast and have been trying to get more sunlight. I am looking forward to the 50 next week.
Another very entertaining sailing video, as well as informative. 21st Century sailboats seem to almost sail themselves with many of the creature comforts of home, including advanced safety features. That water slapping the amas would get old faster than a shabby chic interior.
Yeah not to mention the halyards slapping inside the mast. Wonder what the solution is because most boats don't do that.
Wow!..looks like the blue angels coming thru blue water...amazing boat wish I was there with you and the family. You make me feel dancing across the waters...love this new boat.😀😘🌷🌷🌷
Other people’s’ happiness and joy at their life is so contagious. I’m so happy for you all and this life you have chosen and so obviously love ❤
Love your videos, and I think you made a super good boat choice. What a amazing sailing machine. Awesome filming and editing skills, and have the opportunity to follow along with your family is amazing. I love everything from catching lobster to sailing. Keep up your amazing work.
What a great way to get use to Trimarans before you get your 60ft .. smart! And great for the kids as well..
i love in boom furling, just bit of a learning curve ! its not for everyone definitely but once you know how to use it its fantastic
Our LeisureFurl is a great addition, no need to hesitate to reef!
What an awesome vessel the Rapido is - cant wait to see when yours are done !!!
So glad you are associated with Rapido and bringing attention to these boats.
Always great when the canadian content increases!!
I am not sure if its just us, but god we love it when you sing Elayna. You have such a beautiful voice! Cannot wait to sail around Thailand it looks incredible. Thanks for sharing another epic video ❤
Hi Leyla I’m from Ontario too and now living in B. C. Nice to see a fellow Canadian.
The excitement I felt in you both during this episode was so evident!!! So excited for you and your family✌️💜
I’m not even a boat guy but always love watching your journey especially while I’m having my dinner!😇
What a cool boat. I love all the explanations of sailing techniques even though I know exactly zero about this!
Great video on this shake down sail of the 40ft Trimaran!!! Can't wait to see your 60ft Trimaran!!!!!
the new boat is really pretty, but i hate to sat this, i think i liked the old CAT better, it looked like it had more room. enjot the new one and HAPPY SAILING
OMG it’s the perfect mash up shallow commercialism. A gigantic mirror of crass ‘look at me’.
I really like how you guys were presented with this unique chance to sail a 40 and - soon to be - a 50. Its like learning to walk before you run. 👆🎊 congratulations 🎊👆 you've been selected among my shortlisted winners Dm and claim your prize
Too small boat when compared to your old one....I really loved that boat, I started watching how people live while sailing both catamaran and monohull.... waiting to see how your new boat life suits with trimaran
HECK YESSSS!!! great seeing you all back on the boatttt!
'Kook'---a great antidote for complacency! 😎
When I saw those jet-skis around those rocks, I knew your alert level jumped a bit.
Really interesting boat…love the balance between weight saving and comfortable accommodation…the 60 will be awesome!1
Beautiful animation of Riley's thinking..! 🙂
So glad to see Darwin getting back to normal and continuing on track/ahead in some areas in his development. I know he gave you all a scare as well as your viewers who have grown to love your amazing boys. They both seem so much happier on the water than landlocked. Remember on your 60ft tri lenny want bouncy nets , is it possible to make one area
a wee little trampoline ,that will help them use up some energy .
Can’t wait to see you guys climb onto your own Rapido…. Super to see you guys happy!
I LOVE your videos!! Living through you guys as I sit on my lunch break at work 😂❤️
I’m so excited for y’all to get in/on your new home!!! Much love light and good vibes ❤
wow, so happy familly! Nice boat! Congratulations!!!
This episode is so fire! So pumped for the new boat!!!
You guys look like you're having such a rough time on that little boat. Sigh.... Hope all is well with you and can't wait to see what the 5o is like!!!
So relaxing, can’t wait for my boating season on the local lake to begin in June!
Absolutely adore your sailing videos. Beautiful memories for your family

I use surf mud! Ha ha I got excited when you did that part ! I actually use it as foundation every single day. ! Just thought I’d add that I only use a thin layer so it doesn’t feel like mud on your face but it still protects 😊
Glad you’re onto the surfmud, it’s a great product we’ve been using surfing & kiteboarding for a while now & good to be supporting Australian
Fellow Canadians are great to see sailing with you guys!
Amazing how experienced you guys are now.
Kooks rule! That mast banging! Eish! Glad you’re back! Keen for the 50’!
How fun you got to take a test ride!! I can’t wait to see your new tri!! Woohoo!
After seeing you on this 40ft I can’t wait to see you all settled on the 60ft! Very sleek looking boat ⛵️
Most of our adult life was based on weekend and vacation sailing in the Great Northwest. My wife still comments that she slept best while we were quietly rocking at anchor in a safe bay.
Go Canada 🇨🇦 ❤ Layla represent 🙌 I am from British Columbia so it's nice to see a fellow canuck on board mate 👍 😀
Good to see your family back on the water.
Lovely to see you back on the water 😍
Love the way you guys are in tune with every detail of sailing !!! 🙌
Just brilliant trimaran. .if space is not the issue then great..safe all the time mate.

Riley is looking really strong 💪. Love you guys and your family x
