Re: the road pretty sure the tarmac sections will be replaced by rumble strips to keep speed down, been covered on a forum somewhere. Thanks for the updates GB, great work.

Is the horrible black fence just inside the temporary perimeter fence being removed or replaced? It is literally damaged and bent in evey section and looks awful. Gteat work btw, keep it up 👍

GreyBeard Media gets my vote. As to the road, for me the bends are too sharp for a two-way road, but how do you make it one-way, lights controlled!
Great update Wayne showing all the snagging that needs to be done. It is amazing how they don’t complete certain snagging work, especially the brickwork 🧱. I would go for GreyBeard Media .I think the KOP will be done next as the high street there need a complete upgrade now, so you might as well do the KOP at the same time. UP THE REDS 🔴 YNWA Sparky 🍻🍻

I also agree that the road is an accident waiting to happen! Maybe they could change the name of the stand ? Maybe the Jurgan Klopp stand or the paisley & shankley stand! Just a thought

GreyBeard Media sounds good. Agree on the road. It's just an accident waiting to happen and has been closed for so long people should be used to it. Also, assume the fan zone won't be ready until next season. Not really a priority. Bums on seats was always number one.

100% it will be being used as a public road mate that was part of the planning application. The expansion got rejected at first due to them not putting a road around the stand for locals to use so they re designed it with this road and it got passed. I agree though they could have made it wider and more like a road in general with the kerbs being higher than the actual road. With it all being one level it's not going to be the easiest road to stay on for people who aren't the best at driving haha. Not to mention the lampsots are right up to the side of the road in certain areas, I can see people knocking into them quite a bit. Definitely not the best designed road is it haha.
Yeah I look forward to seeing it in use deffo but certainly needed the width wider for certain 👍
@greybearddroning-merseysidebey I'm starting to wonder if they'll just have it as a one way coming from the Main stand end and only being allowed to drive to the SKD end as the exit point? Suppose we'll find out eventually haha.
Months ago I said "That doesn't look wide enough for two vehicles" and someone commented "are you an engineer". But to me it still doesn't look wide enough. I don't think it's complete yet. Why are there no posts for banners at the SKD side?
I'm no engineer either but it is tight on the corners for 2 cars for certain 👍

Have a think about if you can get any traction from using the initials only...I.e. GB Media...it might not be possible...but if it is, it might give you search traction from other searches? Not sure...but worth investigating maybe pal? Good luck....
Search traction is the main thing and good work, but TH-cam is so complicated with algorithms and such so deffo think I need to keep GreyBeard part of the name as it always pops up in searches 👍
Road is like a patchwork quilt to me and the angular corners are poorly thought out. I can also see the forever stones being damaged but idiots using it as a skid patch.

Agree about the road. I can’t see two vehicles being able to pass each other. Also are there any kerbs or is in the ground the same level? I’d be worried for pedestrians if a car lost control etc.
All the curbs are level with the road so everything is flat 👍

It don't mate, just been viewing the pics and at weekend I focused on the tight angles of Anfield road and put up the photos, can it work with 5 mph speed limit, it could possibly but I just want to see it all in action deffo

The road imo will be re-open, but possible restricted to a 5mph zone and possibly removable give way signs.
The tarmarc by the gates I think will be lifted on Friday to be replaced by grey bricks and on the path.
Hopefully mate that tarmac will be replaced, as for the road. Just been checking out the pictures of cars on there going in both directions at same time. 5 mph restriction could work so if so then maybe not an accident waiting to happen but I'm interested to see how it goes if and when road is open 👍
Just seems to tight in places for traffic both ways but single file traffic maybe 🤔

Do you know if the fan zone is open inside the lower tier on match days and there’s just nothing in it, or is it closed off completely? The ‘new’ concourse in the lower tier is just the old road. It’s behind the old concourse but they’re not joined up at all, the old concourse is cramped but there’s literally nothing in the new concourse it’s a bit like being in a warehouse.
Fan zone at the moment is always locked on match days as it is nowhere near ready as yet, probably be one of the last jobs to be completed 👍
@@greybeardmedia-merseysidebey I assume you're talking about the ground floor that sits behind the N turnstiles. I think there must be a section that's closed off that sits between the staircases for the upper tier (N) and the old Anfield Road, which is in line with the current road alongside the Shankly Gates. There is a section of space behind the old stand open on match days, but it's walled off from either side of it.
@@Gavelaa yeah it's closed off from both sides, so many materials still being stored inside, to be honest I never seen anyone working in there so that's why I think it will be one of the final jobs to complete, it's not priority with the big outside fan zone area next to club shop but when finally complete it will generate decent money match days ♥️
