'Talking Turkey' with Huntsville ISD Students About Thanksgiving

Next week is Thanksgiving- so we checked in with students from around the district, from our mighty PreKers to our almost out of here Seniors- to hear their thoughts on the upcoming holiday.
In this video, we feature insights from students from the following classes:
Ms. Deidra Diaz’s PreK Class at Huntsville Elementary School
Ms. Erika McBride Third Graders, Ms. Shandy Stewart’s Fifth Graders, Ms. Gaby Torres’ Fourth Graders , Mrs. Autumn Walkers Fourth Graders Mrs. Eve Van Wagner’s Third Graders- all from Estella Stewart Elementary School
We also heard from Students in Ms. Wendy Wenskunas- aka Coach W’s- Teen Leadership Class/ Capturing Kids Hearts Class at Mance Park Middle School
And finally, from Seniors in Ms. Jillianne Baker’s English 4 Class and Mrs. Jennifer Mims Dual Credit English class.
We want to thank all of these students for sharing their perspective- for teaching us a little about how they celebrate the holiday and for also inspiring us with their insight into gratitude and thankfulness.

Finally, we want to thank the teachers that opened their doors to us.
Whenever we spend this much time on campuses, we always come away with a much fresher and deeper appreciation of the work and expertise of our teachers and campus based staff. We are thankful for YOU.
