- In this video we take a closer look at the Louis Vuitton Alma in the Damier Ebene & the Monogram print.
This bag has a whole lot of history surrounding it. Originally made for the one and only Coco Chanel the alma was not meant to be ever made for the masses. It was custom made for Chanel who didn't want anyone else to wear it. Years later Louis Vuitton finally were given permission by the iconic fashion designer to mass produce the Alma, & the rest is history.
We now see the alma in 5 different sizes & a whole lot of combined materials / styles.

I have the Alma MM Eben print with the red interior. My husband gifted it to me for my birthday 4 years ago. Still brand new, still beautiful!!!! We went to an LV boutique so I could see it in person, and I preferred the Eben print no question!! It is just beautiful and sleek looking. 🤎🧡🤎🧡 I'll love and cherish this bag forever !! ❤ I do not wear it often, and when I do I get compliments non stop!
The variety of textures in the LYXBAGS pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.
I personally love the Monogram Version! I saw a lady with this bag when I was 7 years old and it was so beautiful! Now, I do work for a consignment store and I always recommend the Alma or the Speedy for first timers! 🖤
I love the Alma. I have it in the monogram and Epi Toledo blue color. I just bought the Damier Ebene print from the prelove market. I’m looking forward to seeing it. Great video. Thank you for sharing ❤
I do like the monogram print I actually have this one. I do agree the vachette leather is why I don’t carry it as often. I carry my graceful mm as my everyday and my Alma for special occasions.
I think the Damier Ebene is better as it looks freshly sexy even when it is so old and used.. By the way are you from Liverpool?? :)
The monogram looks better for me, but I will pick the damier for the reason that it maintains its pristine look for many, many years, while the monogram leather looks old in less than 5 years even when you’re careful using it.

I have a pre-loved Monogram Alma... I just received it back from LV after getting all new vachetta on the outside. Waiting on my shoulder strap since they installed the wrong hardware and offered one because of their error. Can't wait to get to use it :)

I agree that the monogram looks better. The downside though is, the monogram gets old way faster, while the damier looks new even after 5 years under normal use. Also, the damier has coating while the monogram does not, making the monogram more prone to dirt, marks, and stains.
I have both. I love both. Originally i got the damier evene but really wanted the monogram one. But i sawso many with the vachetta that looked horible. But i got a speedy 25 in monigram. Had it fir going on two yearsand the vachetta has patina'd so beautifully, after spraying first with apple garde and not weearing it everyday. And so i took the plunge. Nor afraid anymore. And years later i can actually just get the vachetta replaced if they dont go to high on the price. But its just something extra extra classy anout the alma in monogram. The ebene is classy as well but not as classy as the monogram in my opinion.

I got both. But again i Agree with you. I don't want the monogram patina leather. When mine was new with light color leather it looked way better. Its a mm size and my damier ebene is pm. Live them both and baby them closely. I own them since 2019 they still like brand new and spotless, both from France

To me, the understated Gucci is more classic. I've always loved their soho range and I also love the tabby cat family on the display LYXBAG
I can afford these designer clothes but I'll buy knock offs on HIDUPZ because wouldn't it be better to wear a $2000 bag and have no money in the bag, or wear a $40 bag and have $2000 in the bag?
