Americans, take a course on "Teaching English as a foreign language," get a cert or diplma, go to work in China as a teacher, and you will have a wonderful life. In China, teachers are very respected.

You are underestimating the power of propaganda.
Remember Germany 🇩🇪 with Adolf Hitler.
Remember Joseph Goebels, the minister of Nazis propaganda.

It is NOT $60 a month for a beautiful apartment but depending on the city a beautiful condo (3 bedrooms) is between $380 and $900 per month. In a big US city 3 bedroom condos are thousands of dollars per month not hundreds. At China's low income end a single worker's studio apartment is approx. $70 per week which is like one night in a budget hotel chain in the USA. So the worker's studio is $280 per month which is a weekend in a 3 star hotel in the USA.

China does NOT have Universal Healthcare and they do pay toward an ambulance but the costs are super cheap. Other countries have Universal Healthcare. There is no way a nation of 1.4 Billion people could do the British or German system so instead they make the costs not the quality, really cheap.

you've completely missed the core of the problmes
the problem here is not who is more wealthy, and America is undeniably the wealthier country with much higher average income
the problem is systematical corruption of the country, the government doesn't work for the people but for their cooperatives making rich people richer and poor people poorer

      "Wealthier"?
      No
The CORE problem is the Ratio of INCOME : COST of LIVING..
The average Chinese citizen saves (CAN save!) 18%+ of their wage. (because they Have *Excess* Disposable Income)
uSA? The AVERAGE is 4.5%, or to put it another way, IF tariffs cause a general price rise of 5%, The AVERAGE worker is "under water"
I *DO agree it's Systemic corruption, but it's the "Voted for" Lobby system ("Legalised Bribery") that is at the core and you problem is that those who would have to vote the law OUT of existence are the same politicians who BENEFIT from the system.
The "Wealth Gap" is the Symptom, not the CAUSE.

China's upper class is no match for the American upper class.
The Chinese middle class is a little worse than the American middle class, except that the living environment is generally worse, and its cost of living, clothing, food, transportation, medical care and education are much stronger than the American middle class. As for the ordinary citizens of China, they are much stronger than the ordinary citizens of the United States.
