this is super cool. we are doing something very similar here in wisconsin, the local hobbytown is now expanding, thus giving us all a space to run these little buggers. they are so fun. my local drift track that just opened will also be running these micro b's on j tile a few nights a week. im pumped, i knew i bought this thing for a reason =]
@bsscards3593 im in cahoots with casa. We will be bringing it back soon, right now we are focusing on drifting and 1rc, foam track debut will be this wed. Hobby town is too busy to accommodate at the moment so ill revisit it later with them.
we're working on that now. i recommend the Mini z flavour. because it's small, has a light. all that had to be done was solder a balance jst lead to the wires so it's powered by the internal car battery. alnk.to/c08Il4s
I have the same question, is it the transponder with the separated led? Seems like it but I would love a close up of how you solder it and how it is installed on (in?) the cars
Losi mini's or macro's are the only way to go for the price. But they do require some jumps and bumps on the track lol Nice video, great product. Cheers!
Hi there, I love this video of your garage racing. I'm hoping to do similar with my friends. I have the same (Larger) LapMonitor transponders. Please can you tell me how you opened them up without breaking their case. I'm assuming you opened them up to enable to fitting the transponders under the car bodyshell. Hope you can offer some advice. Thanks in advance:)
Great idea for the video, garage, your community... and for Canada, really. In just over a week, I may need a new country to live in. Can I stay with you?
@@kpopRCand these seem cheaper too. But would you mount them inside or outside the body? About to pull the trigger but I would love to see how you make it work
tried that timing system, and it was inconsistent crashed mid race sometimes, and the signal bounced of objects and gave false readings, it's a good idea but not for us.
Sick series! This is my kind of fun, dude. Cheers
Looks like a solid option. I saw this several years ago but wasn't sure how good it was. Thanks for the video!
Seriously my favorite series right now!
I want all of that, haha. I have been tempted by that timing system for a while so thanks for showing a closer look.
The more I think about it, the more convinced I am that I will buy a pair. And this LapMonitor RC Lap Counter Multi User Timing System is great 👍
Great way to enjoy winters in Toronto!! Very cool.

Casa was doing it, not sure if they still are, but if hobbytown is doing it I'm in.

Great series 👍
So Sick as always my dood.
🍻🍻
Another kick ass vid!
Absolutely love mine hoping to start doing the same thing lol,
Thanks for sharing the lap timer unit 🤘🤘🤘
Epic vid, as always 👌🏼
badass dude! Toys In Da Hood!
I have a small dirt track at home I will be getting one of these for my track thanks for the help
I wish they had an overhead PVC bridge system for larger heats. It is the one thing holding me back from expanding our field.
have you reached a limit? we've got 6 cars at once with it on a small tripod off to the side.
This is epic. Which transponder do I want for the stock micro b?

yeah that's the next episode. If ya made it to the end of this video you’d see the first roller

we actually cut the body a bit to fit the transponder above the battery, we also moved the servo plugs in front of the battery for more room.
that's awesome
This is awesomeness. I gotta invest in a lap timer system.
4:47 so are you plugging into esc for power with that connection or just a small battery?
we're plugging the lap transponder into the balance lead of the battery
@@kpopRC oh OK that makes sense thanks for the explanation 👍
@@kpopRCwhy is this not the solution in all applications? Are there risks?
Is it possible you could do a video with the way the Losi B is setup with the transponder please? soldering etc.

Even our Conservative Party would be considered a Democratic Party in the USA. Hell man you wanna race the garage is always open!
Thanks a lot @kpopRC for your video 😍
Do you have a pic of how you mounted the transponders
we're in the middle of changing them to mini z transponders because they fit much easier. alnk.to/c08Il4s

Please build the M-jet Supersprint!!!
I will. But winter in Canada is not conducive to rc boat crafts

Did you have any missed counts, especially when multiple cars are passing at the same time or when passing the decoder on an angle?
Nope
What’s the camera you used for micro b on board shots? Please
Osmo action 2
So many "And the best part" about this.
Exactly.
WHERE IS THE FOLLOW UP???? we are waiting
wheres the next episode? :D
it's coming.
