Headphones are mandatory. Slowdive will always be to me where the sound of shoegaze started. Then you listen to Catherine wheel and find out where shoegazes foot print is going...tremendous slowdive thank you...oh so much...
I would agree, but the true founders are Cocteau Twins... having said that, this is IMHO the best follow-up act to the Cocteau, and that is a whole lot to say!! Love slowdive!!
