I made this and added glow in the dark thread . Omg the complements I got were insane. This kid sais " that sunglasses case is sick" I asked my daughter she assured me that's a good thing. I'm will never make a sunglasses case any other way 😎 thank you
I’ve been sewing for over 60 years, and you’ve done an EXCELLENT job teaching this project!! I’m so happy to see you teaching others to sew so well!! 🎊🎶❤️🎉
Made one of these today! Love it! Thank you! After trying to sew a consistent quarter inch seam, I ordered a foot for the quarter inch seam! I plan on making several of these eyeglasses cases. It will so much better with the new foot!🤗
Love this sunglasses case? I have lots of ribbon on hand leftover from the days when I was making hair bows. I would like to try using the wide ribbon instead of fabric for the herringbone pattern. I think that would work?? I also like that this herringbone design can be made from small scraps of fabric. A great way to use up smaller scraps! Thank you for this inspirational video! Also thanks for providing a link to the written directions!
I just made this quick and easy sunglass case from scraps. I plan to give lots of these as gifts. So easy and such fun. Love this new project. Made it on my Baby Lock Soprano!
I love this and have made several for my girlscouts . Can I use foam instead of batting but use the same method. . U explained this so beautifully it was one of my first projects
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I'm so glad I found it as I got lost trying to follow a similar design from another written tutorial that didn't have a video. Was such a lifesaver as I had already started the project and didn't want to abandon it because I couldn't figure out how to do it. THANK YOU 🙏🙏🙏
I made two of these and they are beautiful! However, the open top is problematic as glasses can slip out. Any way you can adapt this pattern to incorporate a flap with Velcro closure to prevent this?
Hi Shaunell, you can find the Turn & More tool at Patty's website here: www.modkidboutique.com/shop/Notions/MKNO003TM.html It may also be available at your local Baby Lock retailer either online or in-store.
I'm still learning to sew. Your instructions were easy to follow. Thank you for sharing.
OMGosh! the hemostat as a turning tool! I am a retired nurse and have a couple of those! Brilliant! Nice tutorial with beautiful fabrics. Thank you.

that's a good suggestion! We can keep it in mind for future projects.
I love this! So clever! You should be able to use the sleeve arm (on other machines) to attach the lining to the outer case.
Thank you for sharing this video I have never done quilting before you make it look so easy ,I will definitely give it a go Yvonne
Adorable!... and so is your sewing. LoL! Anyway, this is a wonderful idea, thank you very much!
Love your video! great instructions!! Thank you!! Beautiful work! :)
Loved this project! I liked the black fabric with the flowers. Do you by chance know the pattern name. I couldn’t find it on the site you mentioned.
Great technique!
So Fun! Do you make your own tags? Embroidered? Or do you have tags pre-printed?
We don't recall what Patty used for her tags, but one of our Baby Lock Ambassadors, Sarah, sells tags if you are interested! shop.sarahhearts.com/
Great job love this !😊
We need the measurements of the scraps. Other website is shut down.
one and a half inches by 4 inches. Cut 4 pieces of each fabric 1-3. others are cut 4x7 inches for batting back and lining.
Hello, this is so beautiful 😀 I can sew a little, but I am not a quilter 😋 you made this so easy to follow 😁💕 thank you 😋💜 Erica x
Great video! Where did you get the 1/4” foot with guide?
How do I get the measurements ? Love the tutorial and would like to get started

Are each of your straps all 1/2 by 4
When I went to print the instructions, the picture of the eyeglass case is gone. Is this normal or do I have a setting wrong?
Hi, how or where can I purchase the turning tool in this video?
Hi Shaunell, you can find the Turn & More tool at Patty's website here: www.modkidboutique.com/shop/Notions/MKNO003TM.html It may also be available at your local Baby Lock retailer either online or in-store.
What is small part size?
Cute, but I recommend making it bigger. Cut pieces at least 8 inches by 4 inches.
