Yeah. Pretty much my experience with Genibo. They work. For a while. For the most part, it's a dumber 7-esque robot with arguably better movement for performing in front of crowds, playing robot football etc. but that all seems to come at the cost of build quality. They fall one too many times like that and something goes wrong, which is why usually when I see them being sold, they're broken in some way or another on a fundamental level (and as such are better compared to a 210/A because they're the only Aibo that often have that sort of thing used with DHS). In all honesty, I think just a 200 series Aibo with Life 2 would prove itself more competent over a sustained period of recording the two.
@ 7:18 and 7:34 that funny blue doggy plops his head down on the floor! 🤣 I love the antics of these ''doggies'', you never know what they're going to do next!
Aki (the Aibo) was made in 2005 and I believe Baxter (the Genibo) was made in 2011 (although Genibo SDs are still being produced now). So Baxter is definitely the newer robot, but Aki still has better artificial intelligence in my opinion.
I'm actually not sure which has a faster walking speed. Baxter has much better servos and is capable of much faster motions, but I'm not sure if his normal walking speed is any faster than Aki's.
AKTT10 Well, they're made by different companies, so they have different types of servos which happen to sound different. I'm not sure what type Aki has, but Baxter's are called HerkuleX servos and are extremely powerful (and a bit loud), so he can do a lot of motions that Aki can't.
Yeah I about died when the Sony Corp killed off Aibo and Quiro the humanoid. Even the Nao doesnt compare.. the robotics industry took a huge hit during the economy crash and still hasnt recovered.. everything they produce is a cheap imitation to what it once was.
Not to mention the overarching insistence of needing a subscription plan or connection to an app just to get the damn things to do anything. This age of true robotics is truly dead.
@@NALTOHQRight?? I hate the unnecessary dependence on subscriptions. It’s shocking how my 20 year old ERS-7 has the date set locally to acknowledge events (such as the birthday of Aibo), and basic settings are easily changed on himself, yet my ERS-1000 needs a subscription for that. With all the features 7s have that 1000s are missing or need the cloud for, and 7s having no stupid cloud subscription for basic features, it often makes the 20 year old 7 feel more advanced. On the bright side 1000s function fine without the overpriced subscription or I would’ve never gotten one.

5:21 when you are in class and you are looking at a person and then they turn around and look at you and you panic
i like how they just look at eachother
7:15 my life
I laughed at the beginning of the video as it seemed Baxter got bored and tried wandering off camera view 😜
Was the blue one doing yoga?
Looks like it
Where can I buy a Genibo?
7:15 - Answer to the question of which is better. lol
I've never seen an aibo do that lol
G: *SPLOOT*
A: ... woof!
Says enough. Lol.
Which bot is the oldest and the youngest?

aibo7m3 Who did you get first?
*****
I purchased both of them used, but I bought Aki in 2009 and Baxter in 2013, so I got Aki first.
aibo7m3 Where did you buy them?
AKTT10
I got Aki from eBay and Baxter was purchased from a member on a forum that I frequent.
Are you tried wich one walks faster
I'm actually not sure which has a faster walking speed. Baxter has much better servos and is capable of much faster motions, but I'm not sure if his normal walking speed is any faster than Aki's.
aibo7m3 But Baxter's walking noise is very loud but aibo has like high sound and not so loud I don't know how to say that but...
AKTT10

aibo7m3 Ok
+aibo7m3 they walk very slow do they do better on hard wood floor since they have wheels?
What Is This Song At 0:00?
Look up, "The Entertainer" It's a classical Song!
Which one is smarter?
The Aibo (white and black) is smarter
New Boss Media Aibo all the way
kind of sux that Genibo isnt programmed to acknowledge other robots

I KNOW!! I can't even find a robot as good as aibo :/
