Pull spark plugs shoot oil on top of pistons late sit day or two put in high gear get on back wheel and rock back and forth ,85 fps. All correct always start in center and work out thing some valves will tighten 2 or 3 thousandths . Good job! Gov rod should be about 1/4 “ from touching gov. Rod so spring can pull governor alway back , if you crank without governor rod hooked up be ready to shut down quickly because of over rev , don’t want to have to start over , sounds like you got it .

That looks like a Super A... Real nice and handy tractors! I'm hoping that I can add one to my collection and mount a snow blade on it. Seems like you got pretty lucky with this old girl. A little bit of cleaning and elbow grease - you can be surprised. My F20 was built out of two tractors, and my M was in FAR worse condition than this Super A. My JD A had a huge block of icei n the crankcase, and the Farmall H I had was also dry stuck. My Case SC and Minneapolis Moline were the only tractors that weren't stuck out of the 6 in my collection.

Sounds like you enjoy working on tractors alot. It is a Super A. Grandpa has another one that was used as a road grader by some county road dept down south. It doesn't have the blade anymore but it still has the blade mounts on the final drives. Pretty neat what these old tractors can do.

It would be a little more tolerable if a video without the cursing non stop
