Prague String Quartet - เพลง
Dvorak is a composer for every sort of mood and sensibility. He can occasionally make make me laugh out loud, or sob. I love his freshness and versatility. The four string tonalities here are beautifully blended and add to the vitality of these works. Thanks for this download. I keep coming back to it.
Dvorak was definitely an absolute genius!
Dvorak deserves to be considered between the 3 or 4 greatest composers of the end of XIX century, but it does not happens or at least lot of people scarcely know something about him
The first movement of the first quartet is amazing. Such warmth and harmony :)
I put this on to provide a little background music while I assembled a bookcase. One hour, ten minutes, and forty-two seconds later--I suppose I should start thinking about the bookcase (sigh). :
This is perfect music to listen to while you assembled your bookcase and probably alleviated some stress as putting things together can sometimes test our patience. I hope you can now pick out a book from your bookcase and read while listening. to this great music again.
Of course I finished the bookcase in less than an hour, once I tore myself away from TH-cam. It now holds Dvorak's biography, along with those of his buddies Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, et al., but I still can't do much while this is playing--except eat, alas! Good listening to all, and guten Appetit.
Pure golden melody as only Dvorak could do.
Not only Dvorak, but he was one of the greats.
Lovely music, and lovely photo of our favorite city!
Wow, what a beauty! i thought i knew everything by Dvorak but i did not, this is absolutely new to me.. what a delight listening to it! thanks a lot for sharing :)
Second movement of C-major Quartet starts at 46:30 (not 40:29 as indicated) on my Computer... Great Music and fine Quartet! Thanks!
That the Prague Quartet performs is felicitous. The Op.51 always seemed to me an ideal starter for a young person's introduction to chamber music.
You are always welcoome, Whitney !
I prefer The Dvorak String Quartet, but it's all over now. They were excellent musicians, especially Ruis and Pishinger. Those were golden times of golden interpretations!

Enchanting performance.
Revoici un disque que j'avais acheté dans les années 80, à Berlin ou à Prague (je ne me rappelle plus), et qui m'avait plongé dans l'émerveillement :)
Why has it taken me so many decades to make the acquaintance of the beautiful, light-hearted 10th?
that transmits me the 'summer 2018 vibe' :')
Yo no puedo escuchar música clásica mientras leo: o música o lectura, pero la atención tiene que concentrarse. La música clásica no debe escucharse como música de fondo, es algo muy importante para mí.
Totalmente de acuerdo con usted!👍
Oui! Je pense le même chose! aussi! Sí! Yo pienso el mismo cosa tambien!
The slow movement op the Op 61 quartet is a.wondrous thing. Do I hear echos here (or pre-echos) of the slow movement of the 7th Symphony?
@@LucasHagemans Premonitions then?
@@LucasHagemans foreshadowing OK? In any case, tldr
Hey Neil, are we watching this video at the same time?

Love these string quartets. I recently wrote one myself - it's experimental but it has its roots in traditional tonality. Check it out if have some time :)
