    They hired a hummingbird to hold the camera for this video and you cannot convince me otherwise.

    I hope that the idea of a camera technique of swaying back and forth and side to side, may have sounded cool, it is very distracting. The excitement is in the sounds the musicians are making, no need to add to the visual dynamics.

    Thank you for the video. I would like to see it being done by the same person, playing the same songs, on the same bass. That would probably give you a better notion of all the differences between the pedals. There are a lot of variables in this demo.

    • @crip665
      @crip665 2 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      I was going to write the same. If you wanna compare an effect pedal you better don´t change the rest of the signal chain (like the bass and the bass player) too. Kind of pointless video imho.

    • @aumchandran2437
      @aumchandran2437 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Using the same bass wont make a difference because these two pedals are so heavily distorting the bass guitars original tone that u are hearing only the pedal and not the tonality of the bass

    • @edwardgranger742
      @edwardgranger742 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@aumchandran2437 what you mean wont make a difference? one bass using PJ pickups and the other using soap bar pickups in a more standard J style. makes a huge difference. also if what you said was the case then why do Dingwalls, Fenders, Spectors, Ibanez and Warwicks all sound difference through 1 pedal?

      I think this is an amazing comparison tbh. It gives you similar in style, but different players with their own setups and how it sounds.
      If you want to watch a boring video of the same player out there go to the search bar. They are there already by the players with dedicated youtube channels lol.

    in my opnion sound is different, becasue they have different setting, but is one thing which is the same for both pedals. There is no difference if you have signature 5000$ bass or cheep 200$ bass they sound similar, you are killing taste of bass sound. Bass sound like keyboard with distortion.

      @savoirfaire8979 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @musicmnw1982
      @musicmnw1982 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This has more to do with image taking over the music world. People are more interested in looking a particular way than playing. It's gotten ridiculous. It's getting to the point where you don't get noticed unless you have a model car glued to your face.

    • @musicmnw1982
      @musicmnw1982 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's not a new thing... I mean, musicians have been dressing like idiots for a very long time. I just find the whole thing to be entertaining. Kinda the point if you think about it. Lady Gaga can get away with wearing anything but when two guys from Jersey dress like Voldemort for a youtube video... it makes me chuckle.
