I hope you guys realize that if Armin is playing on the mainstage he can't just play a full on trance set. Everyone in the crowd is into mainstream edm, so he has to start off with more generic edm and then ease them into trance. Armin makes his sets these ways to help mainstream edm fans get exposed to trance, instead of scaring them off with full on 138 from the start.

I hope you guys realize that if Armin is playing on the mainstage he can't just play a full on trance set. Everyone in the crowd is into mainstream edm, so he has to start off with more generic edm and then ease them into trance. Armin makes his sets these ways to help mainstream edm fans get exposed to trance, instead of scaring them off with full on 138 from the start.
