- On this adventure, we explore the northwest coast of California in the Mendocino national Forest. We get together with a couple of other TH-camrs. @OverlandOutAndAbout and @MONTY4X4. We begin our journey and upper Lake, California, and soon head off up into the mountains of Mendocino national Forest to come along. Turn off onto M1 and explore all the way down to let’s Lake and exit out and stony Ford lots of surprises and obstacles we encounter that we have to get figured out so thanks For clicking and I hope you enjoy the video!!!

Dope video. You made it look so easy!! I tried to get to letts lake last weekend and def went the wrong way.. thinking about trying again this weekend.

I go up there through those routes almost every month, Cross that river recently and it was over 3 feet deep and I probably cut about 75 trees just to get to my secret spot to camp, I love it up there it’s my go to place. 👍👍👍
That’s awesome. It’s definitely a beautiful road. And has some spectacular views. We also did quite a bit of clearing our selves. That water should be a lot lower right now

Thanks for sharing. Been on a lot of those roads on a motorcycle and my Delica L300. Last time in the Delica was a cold trip last November. Glad you got the F150 out. Expensive lesson.

Know Letts Lake and The Stoneyford OHV, M10 area well. Been riding there for decades. The top can get snowed in. Was a well forested area before the fire from a few years ago.

Thank you man I appreciate it. It’s a 2017. Roof rack and bed rack are both hook road racks, Smitty built gen 2 roof top tent. 8ft awning, nature nest shower tent, axe shovels, power In the back. Rear locker. Wheels are 18x9 0 offset on 33s. Just other little basic upgrades
With so many people on hand, seems like you could have actually CLEARED some of those trees from the road instead of just cutting goat trails so people have to pick their way through.
Yea but we didn’t go up there to fully clear trails and work all day, we went to go relax and enjoy some family time

What happened to the F150? Engine damage from the water crossing?
That was a diesel F250 yes, water damage he crossed it a little too fast, pushing the water over his hood into his intake
