But still there's a controversy about what is meant by "Common Era". On which terms it has to be define? What are the criteria to be consider? Scientist are in doldrum.
Because many community expressed their discontent about dating procedure/concept/method.

C 1200...It means 'Circa' which means Almost or Nearly....C 1200 means nearly 1200 year...

Current calendar was fixed in 525AD. It was postulated at that time it was 525 years after Jesus was born. Calendar did not start at 0AD. The year 525 was worked out using bit of guesswork and patching different calendars at the time to get at 525. That is why you will find references that Jesus was born in 4 or 6BC. These are all speculations including 0AD birth. Obviously, there is also a speculation that Jesus never existed or dates are miles apart from the truth!

The truth of life is that we can't take ourselves away from Jesus Christ whether we follow Him or not, know Him or not.
The presence of Lord Jesus Christ is in the description of of our time and years of birth. For example if I'm born in 1989 it's infact 1989 CE/AD.
