The next day I went out and purchased one and followed your steps to the letter and I was up and running in about 20 minutes. That includes setting up the VPN and Kodi as well. However, I’m still trying to figure out how to use / navigate Kodi (old folks syndrome 😅). So thanks again for making it easy to set this up and save some money.

You have to turn it off using netflix but turn it on dor 3rd party apps
You don't need the VPN its just a extra layer of protection. Just ignore that part and follow the rest of the instructions.

Yes, it’s really the jailbreak. But LiveNet TV only show a few channels. So I wouldn’t even bother downloading it
