it wasn't a life monitor, it was a costume monitor? is that the name??? idk. it was one of the monitors that turns you into other characters, but this monitor was a sonic costume monitor. but, since he was already sonic, well..... that.

glad to see this game is still around.I know hez tends to get discouraged about it, but he shouldn't there alot of people myself included still want to play this game,don't let the negativity get to you hez especially those who have a high idea on quality just cause a few fan games/ and one official coming soon have set a certain standard in people eyes doesn't mean the game is any more or less good. the first one did have charm and it did little things I have yet to see done yet so I enjoyed it glitches and all and I will enjoy this game too. a few polished would be beneficial but don't over do it as a creates a feeling of just giving up. I am in the background but I am watching bro,don't give up!. you can tell him I said this "redsonic" lol

Good to see this game is still alive and in development, the first Sonic Classic was my first sonic gan game and i've been following and waiting the sequel for years! I can't wait to play this, this is a top tier fan game, the original soundtrack is amazing. Even with Sonic Mania coming, i still want this to be finished and released.
I really hope he still continues to work on this gamer cause I loved the first sonic the hedgehog classic game

I can't say much on what I'm seeing here for Classic 2 as I'm one who perfers playing the game myself so I can get a good impression on a fangame but I will say it does show some promise here. The second zone does seem kind of empty for me but I can hope that the final version will fix that issue. I will say though that Hez looks hilarious with that classic hair on Sonic recolour design, being able to fly and having that AOSTH styled running animation.
If I do have to point out one issue I noticed so far it would be the title screen animation looks a bit off with Sonic's hand and his arm being missing until the last frame:

Hope the arms and hand are added later so the animation doesn't look distracting.
This fangame looks great! The only criticisms I have are weird technical things like when Hez dies he turns into Sonic for a half second.
That was an amusing title screen with Tails and Knuckles. The menu options available are well laid out. I like the power up visuals and the new effects. Knuckles rolling = I'm sliding. 😂
The character Hez in this fan game = Part Tails, Part Sonia, Part Super Sonic. Drill Base has a creative boss, like the improved Final Zone from Sonic 1. 25:54 Mighty in a nutshell. 😂

I love the Start Menu's design. It looks like something Sonic Wouldn't have but it also fits Sonic and just a Genesis Style in general. (Checking out the Let's play of this game right after finishing this video)

I also enjoy the Loading Icon and the Emerald's designs, I've never been a fan of the "Diamond" shape modern chaos emeralds have, I prefer the Emerald/Ruby-ish shape as if you were looking at the Diamond shape from the top.
Anyone else realize that the music for the disclaimer was flipping shake it off
The Knuckles suit looks kinda unsettling/creepy. I think taking off the eyes and muzzle from the suit would look far better. Also, love how the first boss of the game is a fusion of Sonic 3's firebot from Angel Island and Marble Zone's Eggmobile. Drill Base is amazing, kinda like the lovechild of Flying Battery and Chemical Plant, with a bit of water to boot. The Special Stage seems really cool, but I can't help but to wonder if the disappearing of an outline of blue spheres turning them into rings like Sonic e will return.
Please Hez the genius hurry up to finish this cool game,courage for finishing.

may be a working progress but my god this is beautiful music is well done level design oh god yes such great level design. Power up designs and effects beautiful. Very well made fan made game. Invincibility music eh it could be a little better but again working progress but it's beautiful. Animations are pretty smooth though the characters could use an update and wonder if the other charaters unlocked would also be be used monitor wise? Besides this I kinda wonder if there will be a story or something that goes with this awesome game?

Though, something I always disliked in fangames is how when hitting monitors there's a glow, I think it would look better if there was an exploding animation, and some glow, but that's my opinion

The blue ring is from mania where if you take damage all rings lost will be bigger than usual

Sonic skinned Knuckles & wore him as a suit
This game looks great, but something seems off. It doesn't look right to me when Sonic walks to start his run. It's very subtle, but it's a detail I just don't like. And a few other things need polish.
As for the rest of the game, it looks really good so far. The physics look pretty accurate, and that new costume ability looks really cool. I'm excited to play this game when it goes public.

holy shit, the suits are so damn funny. I miss silly platform tone in recent sonic games. Mario does silly things all the time and it makes the gameplay more varied. I'd love more of that in Sonic.

So how does the physics feel? it has promise but the wonky physics on the original sonic the hedgehog classic was a bit of a turn off for me, but the amount of characters and the level design has me interested, not really keen on the special stages though they look cheap not cheap difficulty i mean you know like cheaply made like when you see a knock off item from a shop and you know it wasnt really quality.
