Here is my opinion. I did not believe Luke deserved head coaching job, from his short time as sub coach for Warriors. I thought many better coaches were passed up. But now that he is coach, I do not believe the current problems are his making. These players just dont respect him, even when he probably knows what he is saying. It's a lose lose for him. Lebron also must be a handful. Basically I dont blame him. Lakers hired him irresponsibly and now blame him without just cause. Luke is in a tough spot. It's like that movie Moneyball, they hired someone on looks and flash and all American image, ignoring the fact that he just doesnt have the skills yet. And besides even if he does have some skills, these players don't respect him enough to take his advice.
It's not 1st coach that LBJ makes get fired, ppl should rly open their eyes cause he's overstepping and overstretching his powers at this point.. or said in other words = playing on a thin ice.. He's a heck of a player but kinda needs to start "developing" some team-chemistry to teams where he goes to and stop being "baited" by that old moto of "grass is greener on the other side" kind of thing Whereever he goes he gets max contracts (I think ?), so he kinda need be a bit more patient :)
Trade LeGroin James for AD already. Then you'll have AD with cap space for a max player. So LeBron gets impatient and decided they better blow up the entire team to get Anthony Davis rather than waiting (a year and a half) to get him in free agency? Let the young guys develop a little. I mean what exactly did you expect when you joined the team, LeGroin?
lebron has trade immunity in his contract so its not possible. if you get lebron on your team regardless if he wins you a championship why would you trade him? him just being there fills seats and merchandise and he is actually an economic boom to any team.

I love lebron and all but thats what happens when you get lebron. Look at what happened to cleveland. Lebron goes to cleveland. Young core with lebron. Traded young core to satisfy lebron. Wins championship. Lebron stops winning. Lebron leaves. Cleveland didnt have young core and is now trash. This is exactly what was happening to the lakers now. The difference is they are on the west and its really tough to win. Also, lebron is old now. Sooner or later, he will retire. And when he leaves, lakers will be like cleveland today.
Facts! Laker fans fell for the LeBron loves these young guys and he's going to play differently in his fifteenth year. LBJ has never preferred young players and is his own offense period. If Walton survives this season, he will be fired as soon as it's over.
Cleaveland was trash before Lebron. He made them contenders. He left cause they couldn't build a championship team around him. Came back cause he saw what looked like couls be a championship team

Javale MGee should just shut his mouth. Just because he won a ring with an OP team he's has forgotten that he was once a 2-time mvp. A shaqtinafool mvp
The self proclaimed GOAT is uncoachable and he poisons every locker room against the incumbent coach. Got 2 coaches fired in Cleveland, tried to get Spolestra fired but Riley told him to shut up and play, and now Luke. On the other hand, Jordan (the actual GOAT) was incredibly coachable and his buy-in on Phil Jackson’s request to play off the ball more and involve his teammates more early in games is what made the triangle offense work. And he did all that for Jackson after a coach Jordan really liked (Doug Collins) was fired by Jerry Krause. Lebron is a diva and a locker room cancer. I’d start my team with Steph before him every time if I had a choice between the two and Lebronda isn’t even in the conversation with Jordan. Not even close.
Besides the point dummy. Everybody on a team knows whether or not the star player respects the coach and is willing to execute his vision for the team. It doesn’t matter that he’s temporarily sidelined. It’s evident that Lebron has undermined Luke since he arrived. If you can’t tell you’re the only one.
or or... they could both be good in their individual spaces i mean why hate when they cover 2 seperate things? one covers news and the other covers plays and players
And that is exactly why Lebron will never win a championship again. The only way he wins one is if he gets a coach who doesnt take shit like Pop, but he's never leaving the spurs.
@@maleeksambrano7302 Still. Y'all put the actions of another man on someone else's shoulders. Makes no sense at all. It'd be different if LeBron hand picked them but no, he only approved.
@Lorian Loth What's so "toxic" about not liking a coach? If he's trying to compete for a title, everything has to be as good as can be right? What's so bad about thinking that a coach doesn't mesh well with him? If you're the make or break to a team, why can't you have a coach that you can put your trust in to lead you. It'd be totally different if LeBron would have picked these coaches in the first place like how people say that about players around Lebron particularly 2 years ago with the Cavs. So it's a double standard with coaches and players now?
The Lakers are a slow train wreck. I hope AD goes somewhere else and Lebron retires without another playoff appearance. Walton will be fired once they are out of contention for playoffs
I hope AD gets traded to the lakers. Then opts out of his contract and sings back with the pelicans... that way he gets the help he needs to really win

Coach I gotta say that I truly appreciate all the effort that you've put into making these fantastic breakdowns over the years. We're blessed to have you
The cancer is clearly LeBron. Historically, every team he’s ever been on, from as far back as SVSM, he has tried to impose his will and agenda on the team...his way or the highway. His youth coaches did nothing but enable this behavior by giving him whatever he wanted and dubbing him “the King” before he even graduated from high school. His ego has been stroked from a very young age. The only one that really stood up to him was Riley. His track record speaks for itself. That’s not to take anything away from his talent and basketball IQ, both of which are phenomenal. But as far as being a “team player”, it has always been LeBron’s way or the highway, and coaches are no exception. I’m actually surprised Magic Johnson is enabling this behavior as he is an “old school” player. With him making it clear that anyone on the current roster is available for trading for Anthony Davis (except LBJ of course), how are the younger players (as in, inexperienced and not used to the business-side of the league) supposed to focus on the game plan?
LeBron and co are more savy dealing in the business side of basketball compared to Magic. Magic as great as he was as a player doesn't have the resume of a Pat Riley, Greg Popovich, or Phil Jackson.
People need to stop this nonsense, believing that former great players can be great front office managers. The only example is Larry Bird, the only one in decades. Magic was a awful coach and a terrible TV analyst. He got lucky with his financial consultants, yes, but that's doesn't mean he knows what he is doing. He hired people to manage his money and business for a reason, the guy knows how to run after a ball, not other stuff. And good for him, he is a alltime great player, but this obvious mistake of giving power for this kind of former great player is just idiotic. Imagine the Buss children without their heritage? They are complete failures, abortions ruining this franchise. One bad decision after the other, the woman even started a affair with Phil Jackson out of nowhere, lol The problem with the Lakers is not related with LeBron or Magic, it's all about the Buss abortions.

Im sorry but this is the third team LeBron has been on that experienced dissension mid-season. We gotta stop blaming these teams and acknowledge that LeBron is a cancerous player to any franchise.

Lebron is a transcendent player, in saying that he has never shown the ability to play within a system. If you're on lebron's team (coach or player) you have to play the the lebron system. ( give him the ball and let him make plays)
This system has won him three titles, which is more than many other teams or players can say. It's for real a double edged sword.

Weird beasly and mcgee always get blamed, kuzma was so lousy Ingram started slow, but Rondo played hard, really appreciate his effort.
lebron has got a 100% chance of imploding teams. probably his greatest stat.
So when are we going to blame Magic for this shitty roster he put together ? Beasley, Lance, And Javale ? REALLY ??
Adolfo Castillo and lebron remember he approved the signings
Adolfo Castillo EXACTLY !!! SOMEBODY SEES WHAT I SEE !! OMG
Adolfo Castillo lebron asked for them. Lebron wanted them.
Black & Yellow Lebron asks for shooters not bums
Adolfo Castillo Well...if the Lakers have "bums"...then, blame the GM...and the PRESIDENT OF BASKETBALL OPERATIONS (Magic Johnson). They're the ones who do the recruiting and the signing. So...be mad at your team's front office. Magic ain't as SMART as people think he is.
He's a heck of a player but kinda needs to start "developing" some team-chemistry to teams where he goes to and stop being "baited" by that old moto of "grass is greener on the other side" kind of thing
Whereever he goes he gets max contracts (I think ?), so he kinda need be a bit more patient :)
Trade LeGroin James for AD already.
Then you'll have AD with cap space for a max player.
So LeBron gets impatient and decided they better blow up the entire team to get Anthony Davis rather than waiting (a year and a half) to get him in free agency?
Let the young guys develop a little. I mean what exactly did you expect when you joined the team, LeGroin?
lebron has trade immunity in his contract so its not possible. if you get lebron on your team regardless if he wins you a championship why would you trade him? him just being there fills seats and merchandise and he is actually an economic boom to any team.
why would pelicans want old lebron
@@yhwhfearingguy646 Ya true, no one wants him anyways so the no trade clause is moot. Even worse contract than Chris Pauls or John Walls.

The guy is 34, he can't wait a year and a half. Ingram and Lonzo didn't "blossom", so the only way that Magic can justify this nonsense of acquiring old LeBron is to trade the entire team.
everytime a team loses its always the fault of the coach. fk no. its just a bunch of players who r so arrogant that wont listen to the coach.

People forget that Beasley wasn't exactly a coachable player when he was drafted... Mcgee... I dunno much. Dude is clumsy at times but he is pretty good.
Javale McGee & Michael Beasley are having issues playing with Walton's offensive sets and defensive schemes 'cause clearly they haven't gone to Point Guard College! Where you develop your basketball IQ, improve your decision making, and learn how to read the defense so you’re always ahead.

LeBron was drafted in the land. And made them playoff contenders alone...
Facts! Laker fans fell for the LeBron loves these young guys and he's going to play differently in his fifteenth year. LBJ has never preferred young players and is his own offense period. If Walton survives this season, he will be fired as soon as it's over.

LeBron doesnt even play defense. he constantly leaves the lane open for the guy he was supposed to be guarding and when LeBrons guy drives with an open lane to the basket LeBron turns around and glares at his teammate like hes blaming them for not picking up HIS guy. everybody already knows LeBron is just standing around waiting to grab a rebound so he could stat pad instead of playing defense and guarding his man. its pretty hard to win when only four guys on the court play defense

That Ad placement was A+
