I usually just do a quick calculation of the average of the last 3 or so that sold. I tend to price towards the higher side but I always turn offers on. I don't have an exact science but I do base it on the recent comps. I'm sure I would get more sales if I priced things on the lower end but I also don't want to kill the value of that item.

Hi, I am new at eBay reselling and your videos are so helpful. Do you have a particular budget that you spend weekly for items to resell that you buy at the bins, or flea markets? I am still figuring this out because i want to be sure to make a profit. Thanks.

A good rule of thumb is 20% of your profits. So starting out I maybe set a budget of $100 but it really depends on your family budget. And then as it grew I would take 20% and reinvest it in new inventory. Best of luck!!

So depending on the item is when I do free shipping or not. I base it solely on recent comps. If that item sells regularly with free shipping I have to match that price. I always do calculated shipping to make sure that the buyer pays based on their location.
