I know this is an old video but having just watched it, I am compelled to say that this interview contained the most useful advice I have ever heard on painting. No drama, no ‘look at me, I am great’ just honest, humble yet powerful advice. Thank you so much 🙏

I really appreciate what you said about inspiration, I tell people I am not an artist because I have had no formal trianing and because artists are able to say what inspires them and I just paint because I enjoy it, I dont even have a favourite subject

I really learned alot out of your Conversation talking about painting with Watercolors. I have to admit I'm going through a time, I'm just stuck painting more.
Then I thought let's just paint small, something just Flowers or a Bird. Slowly I'm showing interest again. I just adore Watercolor. Thank you for all your advice.

I so like your comment about practise... I like it. I find the word practise too straining... So just doing ti enjoy is great. I feel too if I put too much on trying to do something it doesn't work... I love it when I just do and play. I get best results for me when I just let the brush flow.
