When the media asked Saleh at a press conference "why won't you give Mike White a chance?", he said "that's a good question. I can't answer that".

This guy is not an NFL head coach at this time in his life. He needs to become a head coach in college. That said, you're 100% correct. Rodgers is toxic. He caused GB to get rid of McCarthy, he didn't get along with LeFleur, but because he was old and washed up, GB got rid of him this time. And now it's the Jets turn to go through his toxicity. Serves them right.

Robert Saleh didn’t hire Nathaniel Hackett and he damn sure didn’t sign Aaron Rodgers yet he gets blamed for the offense struggle?
That was just the hand he was dealt though, he didn’t ask for it but like it or not that was the situation and he wasn’t able to execute. It’s unfortunate but just the reality
He’s the head coach doesn’t matter who they get he should be able to do it.
Rodgers was the owners pet project. He bent to Rodgers' every wish. Rodgers told him he wanted Hackett for the OC for him to go there, they got him. He wanted all those former GB players, they got it for him. They're now going after yet another former GB player in DeVante. The one that needs to go is the owner. But we know that's not happenning.
That said, Saleh is an absolutely horrible NFL head coach. Second worse only to Siriani.

The issue with the Jets isn't Saleh. It's the front office. They drafted poorly (overall, minus very few exceptions), and they make impulsive decisions and are in panic mode 24/7. Idk, Johnson has been a terrible owner, and Rodgers going in there and pushing his weight around isnt helping. Rodgers isn't an owner, and he isn't a coach. This decision has Rodgers' fingerprints all over it. Honestly, the way they've treated Saleh, not fully letting him be the HC and make decisions, makes me want to see the Jets fail. Which I'm sure they will because they always do.

I don't think anyone expected that. They just expected a marked improvement from Zach Wilson. He's definitely looked better but the offense as a whole has produced the same which is a fair critique of Aaron Rodgers

The "Robert Saleh" problem is a Aaron Rodgers problem. The "Nate Hackett" problem was that Russell Wilson was deemed the "god" and Hackett had very little options, and again, Aaron Rodgers was deemed the "god" and again, Hackett had very little options.

It all starts with the O-line. Past 3 or so years, Jets have had nothing but a patchwork O-Line. The O-Line has to be good enough to support a run game and a passing game. And The Jets simply do not have a good enough offensive line....to keep an efficient passing and running game going. In my opinion anyway.

I think the Jets did Salah a solid here... He can either go back to being a defensive coordinator somewhere or a Head Coach in either College or the NFL somewhere else. No Coach survives long with the JETS.

A head coach gets the blamed for the ENTIRE team. I'm tired of the head coach (in all scenarios) getting to skate for the other side of the ball. You address the entire team in meetings. You call timeouts for the entire team. You decide to go for fourth downs for the entire team. Your defense being good, and your offense being undisciplined is a head coach issue.
