you need to check out disembodied tyrant if you enjoyed mirar 🎉🎉🎉
This EP is definitely for music nerds. Ive listened to the whole thing front to back multiple times. Definitely one of those that takes multiple playthroughs.
Idk why people keep saying that. I'm a pretty casual listener (don't play any instruments) and I really enjoyed this EP. I usually can't get into instrumental music (except game soundtracks lol) at all no matter how good it is, but I've had this on repeat since it came out
@@KosmicNomad Because most people will look at you funny even if you played a somewhat more obscure Slipknot or BMTH track, let alone something from bands like Opeth and TesseracT. And just forget about even trying to play stuff like this or Vildhjarta/HLB and such stuff.
agreed
Yea only for like technical, accurate, calculating, cold hearted, machine-like metal elitists or something like that.
if schizophrenia was an album
Look up artist called utarm
Glad you liked it too. It's been playing nonstop for me since release.
4:34 wild that you skipped the best riff on the album
That's what i'm sayin
Dude FOR REAL. besides all of Oslo 😎
I don't think there are any "Riffs" on this album bro
@@LimeGuy101 That might be the single most ridiculous thing i've ever read mate
@LimeGuy101 The end of Hestehov is straight up a riff. One of the few repeat parts on the album
Such a cool blend of thall, classical, and edm (not versed enough specific subgenres).
absolutely peak album, also great gym playlist
this is going to be my album for killing floor 3 when it's released.
So the Catsclaw tee. 👌🏻
I feel like this album, as someone who just found Thall, despite loving Deathcore. This sounds like if metal musicians heard Dubstep for the first time, and were like. Huh, yeah we can do that with our instruments, we don't need synthesizer tables.
THALL BABY LETS GO
Nice TOOL poster in the background
Did he say “Forklift-Core”?
I know you'll like new VOLA Drew 😉🙃
Didn’t like the last 2 singles man
@@DrewFortune97 VOLA got boring with a quickness
@@DrewFortune97 I can understand, I definitely hope the album takes more risks (I just can't get the chorus for the new song out of my head now)
Best EP of the year
Certified ForkliftCore
Also Drew I also have that Catsclaw T shirt so comfy and a SEXUAL design.
Actually didn't like this album. Just same ideas over all songs. Not even close to "Masstaden udner vatten"
I thought I had the same opinion as you about feeling like I wouldn’t listen to this more after the initial listen, but I’ve been listening to some tracks from it daily as well as their other music
Same it was intense and overwhelming at first, but its been growing on me more and more and now ill listen to it all the way through at work like every other day
Thats like DUBSTEP reincarnated into metal lmao
Neo-classical Thallstep with a bunch of stuff mixed in
t h a l l
last half of the Hestehov is the best part on the album and you didn't even include it in the highlights
The melody in that part is insane
2:20 Might be my second favorite moment in this entire EP.
What’s your first?
Oslo the best track from whole EP. I like those classic elements, like piano for example. Those pitch shifted noises are sometimes a bit annoying, but I must give them credit for that production, it’s just crystal clear. This is one of those rare moment when I can fully appreciate my KRK monitors.
The "techno" part of Oslo is amazing. Also my favourite song from the EP
9:09 that transition almost killed me
Did you get emotional during this one?
You should react to VEMOD by forgetting the memories. Buster mixes and produces them and their sound is unlike anything in metal I’ve ever heard. You’ll love it man
I just came back here to thank you for that recommendation, you are right they are amazing and unique
You should listen to the gray by Deadvectors. Beyond the pines has the best thall breakdown ever
Heard it, on Patreon!
Didnt Buster do the production for this band? Hes everywhere lol
Someone mentioned this band sounding like they're playing a guitar like a violin which sounds pretty accurate
I've listened to the EP probably 20+ times already. It's been a daily listen requirement. A masterpiece and very strongly commanding the AOTY slot.
Haha same I go through quite a lot of daily listening requirements with thall
i think no album can be better than Masstaden Under Vatten even vildhjarta themself can't (unless they take 10 years again)
lol, agree man - but this might be the closest I’ve heard in terms of the “holy fucking shit” factor
@@DrewFortune97I like masstaden 2011 better personally
thallrd
inplay destiny on xbox and ive always said that it needed some sort of doom style music in the background and then i found mirar and it just goes so perfectly with the flow of destiny it almost makes it feel like youre playing doom 😅
This is WILD. Goddamn! 🔥🔥
8:05-9:58 The entire Oslo reaction is pure finest quality immaculate gold
I literally operate forklifts all day and LOVE Hestehov lmao
Olso is just a comedy piece
13:30 This made me laugh soooo hard
dubstep 2 finally dropped
Sounds like dubstep
10:18 bro talked through the whole build up lmao 😭
i was mad af
this is my favorite rock ep of this year
Calling this rock is a war crime.
You must be new to this type of music@@oSileyCT-7212

DISLIKE because:
Your audio is too loud and the audio from the music is too quiet
Album is incredible
whole album seems to sound better 1.18x or 1.15x
