this is one of my favorite songs and this is the closest I've ever heard anyone to getting me as emotional as when I hear the original by ramin karimloo
This is awesome, but he'd be better fitted to Raoul. He has that clear voice Raouls tend to have. Now I really want to hear him sing All I Ask of You. He'd be an amazing Raoul. Definitely.
Ten long years Living a mere facade of life Ten long years Wasting my my time on smoke and noise In my mind I hear melodies pure and unearthly But I find I can't give them a voice without you My Christine My Christine Lost and gone Lost and gone The day starts The day ends Time crawls by Night steals in Pacing the floor The moments creep Yet I can't bear to sleep Till I hear you sing And weeks pass And months pass Seasons fly Still you don't walk through the door And in a haze, I count the silent days Till I hear you sing once more And sometimes at nighttime I dream that you are there But wake, holding nothing but the empty air And years come And years go Time runs dry Still I ache down to the core My broken soul can't be alive and whole Till I hear you sing once more And music, your music It teases at my ear I turn and it fades away and you're not here Let hopes pass Let dreams pass Let them die Without you what are they for? I always feel no more than halfway real Till I hear you sing once more
I see Raoul, idk why. From watching various PoTO and LND casts, he just fits Raoul more for me, maybe because he sounds more... Naive? His voice sounds loke that of a lover longing for the woman he misses, not a pained, lonely man who has been through a lot, only to have his one source of happiness ripped away. Or this is just me.
extinguishedflame could not agree with you more, I'm singing this for a show, and I really feel the sadness within this song, he seems happy and has everything, he's the perfect Raoul
Wow, I really am impressed by this performance. Both vocally and overall performance. I liked the way you took your time at 'nothing but the empty air ... ... and years come' And your B-flat was pure awesomeness, it's been a long time since I heard someone sing that note correctly! Only note I would give you is the way you sort of back of at 'let Hopes pass, let dreams pass' It'd be better if you did the opposite, a few steps forward instead of backwards, in my opinion. But very good job!
Your vocals were excellent. The only thing I could possibly critique is just to stand a little straighter. He's such a strong role that hunching takes away a tad from the strength. That, however, is being overly picky. This was excellent!
Lol no it's okay. For the first few weeks after I found out about him that's how i pronounced his name. Then i saw a video where he said RamIn and i felt stupid XD
Incredible singer and actor, the only thing I didn't like was the immediate jump to vibrato on certain words, but that doesn't take away from this enticing performance
Incredible sounding voice, nice presence, excellent vibrato control, and a very handsome face. All in all, you are a great singer and performer. However, I didn't feel the pain, the emotion that comes with this song. That's pretty much my only criticism. Your voice was almost cheery. Still, I think you make a better phantom than Michael Crawford.
Yeah, I saw him as Jack Kelly on Broadway and I noticed that if his left hand wasn't holding something, it would always be in his pocket twitching like crazy
Myles Chu Its most likely a nervous tick on stage. Most actors have them. I personally wiggle my right big toe but thankfully it's not noticeable from the stage. Things like that also help us focus, oddly enough.
He would be perfect for Raoul. Lile seriously. Dashing, a clear voice, and has a Raoul "factor" don't you think?
mean he did play jack kelly
Raoul is supposed to be a baritone.
Maybe in the first phantom, but he doesn't exactly give off the part of a drunk gambler for LND
Absolutely stunning. This man has such a promising career ahead of him. Hopefully I'll get to see him in Newsies
this is one of my favorite songs and this is the closest I've ever heard anyone to getting me as emotional as when I hear the original by ramin karimloo
he'd be a perfect Marius.
beautiful voice and wonderful acting choices for this great song! fantastic job!
AHHHHH that Bb was effortless. So good.
Look how far he's come.. Oh my God..
Corey cott would be an amazing phantom!!! I saw him in newsies last spring break with my choir, it was fantastic!!
Fantastic job! So emotional and lyrically and tonally on spot!
Whoa. I have chills. That was incredible!!!
My gosh that was amazing. Your voice and the emotion was truly moving. Great work!
he is AMAZING
I love Corey and Love Never Dies so this is like perfection
He'd be a gorgeous Prince Eric, if The Little Mermaid returned to Broadway.
I have no idea how I stumbled across this bit this is literally the best video in the entire world I'm crying oh my god.
Amazing!
this brought me to actual tears
And I'm back again still in tears
Great job! Stunning voice! Love that song too!
I STRUCK MORE GOLD THIS IS BRILLIANT
Bravo!!!! 👏🏻👏🏽👏🏾💜 May you be the next Phantom
Beautiful voice

He blows me away every time I hear him sing. And I hope one day he plays Phantom.

I can't stop watching this.
Can't stop watching!
amazing job!
I just heard of you tonight, and oh my goodness, I am now in love
That Bb at the end was probably the best I’ve heard it…tenors man
awsome you are amazing
My two favorite broadway boys sing this Corey and Ramon karimloo!!
look guys! there goes that split second i thought i could sing!
You're so amazing, wow. I really hope I get to see you as Jack. Keep up the great work, you are a huge inspiration.
Dude, that was awesome! “Let them die!” was epic.
This songs part of my repertoire.
omg i cant WAIT till I see you in newsies.....
I never know I needed till now
He's lovely
How did I not know that this video existed?! 😱
This is awesome, but he'd be better fitted to Raoul. He has that clear voice Raouls tend to have. Now I really want to hear him sing All I Ask of You. He'd be an amazing Raoul. Definitely.
francesca grace Raoul is supposed to be a baritone and he is a tenor.
At 1:49... that "let", dayum
Corey Michael Cott. I have never cried so much during a solo.
my jaw, has hit the floor
AMAZING! I honestly didnt know that Corey had it in him to pull this off. The last high note was perfect!
HE IS LITERALLY AMAZING!!! I'm obsessed with this kid. I wanna see Newsies so badly!!
Bravo

My Christine
My Christine
Lost and gone
Lost and gone
The day starts
The day ends
Time crawls by
Night steals in
Pacing the floor
The moments creep
Yet I can't bear to sleep
Till I hear you sing
And weeks pass
And months pass
Seasons fly
Still you don't walk through the door
And in a haze, I count the silent days
Till I hear you sing once more
And sometimes at nighttime
I dream that you are there
But wake, holding nothing but the empty air
And years come
And years go
Time runs dry
Still I ache down to the core
My broken soul can't be alive and whole
Till I hear you sing once more
And music, your music
It teases at my ear
I turn and it fades away and you're not here
Let hopes pass
Let dreams pass
Let them die
Without you what are they for?
I always feel no more than halfway real
Till I hear you sing once more
yes and yes and yes.
fantastic! Also, you are gorgeous!
Great!!!!!! :)

That pianist fucking up tho
i will not live until is the phantom
i think hed actually make an awesome phantom
Lol no it's okay. For the first few weeks after I found out about him that's how i pronounced his name. Then i saw a video where he said RamIn and i felt stupid XD
Incredible singer and actor, the only thing I didn't like was the immediate jump to vibrato on certain words, but that doesn't take away from this enticing performance
Great voice, but for lighter and brighter voice type roles. Try some operatic vocal techniqe, it will open you much more resonance ;)
:O
New Jack Kelly !!
Ramin...
His version is a lot more pure and youthful. Ramin's amazing but this is pretty neat too.
Sorry I know its Ramin it was just a type-o

he wiggles his thumb a lot
That was in my mind too
he wiggles his thumb a lot.
+Myles Chu I've noticed he has a nervous tick while performing
+Zach Haines I noticed it, too. Anyhow, I am actually just amazed by how fast his thumb can go.I couldn't do that.
Yeah, I saw him as Jack Kelly on Broadway and I noticed that if his left hand wasn't holding something, it would always be in his pocket twitching like crazy
+Zach Haines hahaha I wonder if he knows this about himself or not.
Myles Chu Its most likely a nervous tick on stage. Most actors have them. I personally wiggle my right big toe but thankfully it's not noticeable from the stage. Things like that also help us focus, oddly enough.
I love corey, but him as phantom is just not cutting it
I agree with you. He does lack the emotion that is an essential part of the song and the context. But he did great nevertheless
Abosultet
GREAT voice. But not right for this song.
I do agree. This needs a slightly darker color. Corey has a very lyric tenor kind of voice. Ramin is a dramatic baritone with high notes.
I can't hear crap in the first bit
Not as amazing as Ramin, but still good!
