i always thought fan fiction of real people was super weird and wondered how the people in them would feel, but i never considered the implications they may have in real life. crazy!!

I'm curious how much they read. Like it started as just a screenshot for the RTAA, but they read the summaries and got too curious to resist

This is EXACTLY why you don't write fanfic about real people. It's fine to do that for maybe characters they act or play as, but once you start treating the actual people like characters in the stories, you can get them in actual trouble. Like, why would you EVER role play an existing person??
9/10 times no one is gullible enough to believe it
The problem wasn't the fanfiction, it was the Facebook account.

Not going to lie, I want to be the fly on the wall if anyone tries to use fanfiction to prove a reason for a divorce, just watching the judge be like, "In all my years, this is the stupidest reason I have ever heard."
Considering most judges are older people, they may very well not understand internet culture just like the wife didn't and side with them
