To be fair, the combo is actually a more flexible flurgl tox. There are up to 3 cards to combo with dreadscale with two being 3 cost and one being that 6 cost option.
@@81-jdowlwp kinda? There is definitely stuff like that dredge weapon for a cost reduction on either beast, as a delayed discover from deck additionally. It’s just slower. Worse? Probably, but I think saying it isn’t good is a bit unfair.

Actually kinda funny how you say this flurgl tox is simply balanced cost when there's multiple with the least expensive being 3 mana not counting discounts and the most expensive being 6. Wasn't dreadscale always 3 mana? If so 3mana tox was always in hunter since the 0mana poison spell
The comment I was responding to was making fun of “6 mana flurgl toxfin” which is still a good combo, and immediately after responding to that I go on to make the same point you’re making 🤔 Flurgl/Toxfin was lightyears better than Dread/Serpant before the change, and half of what made it better is still relevant. Dread got buffed to not hit your side, so before the buff it was clearing your own board too. For that alone I think calling it “3 mana flurgl/toxfin” before is completely inaccurate. Flurgl/Toxfin is tutor-able together via Ice Fishing and allows you to clear during your turn instead of at the end, so you can push damage through taunts. Having played them a fair bit I think Acidmaw is the better of the two, cause comboing with wound prey lets you get through stuff to push damage during the turn, but theyre both good. The biggest improvement they gained from the buffs is that there’s two of them now, which mitigates the lack of Ice Fishing.

The 2nd game against even shaman really shows how disgusting that deck is, Martian played 10/10 of stats on turn 1 and barely got over the finish line after playing flurgl tox
I don’t watch a whole lot of wild content, but it might be worth it to branch out to other wild youtubers only to hear them say they’re playing Martian’s take on Chumbo Hunter or Potato Druid
The only bad thing about this deck is 99% of the hearthstone community would have to craft dreadscale and acidmaw😂 At least the 1% of hearthstone boomers like myself will be eating good
