Scrabble GM vs. Bot Blitz Battle: Episode 17!

I triumphed handily over the Scrabble engine HastyBot in my 100-game Mack vs. Machine series, but that was in a long time control. Can I repeat the same feat in blitz?

Yeah hooks are always way harder when you have to change the pronunciation of the word! I've seen the O hook on RANGE missed and also the A hook on GOUTY for similar reasons

Is there Scrabble "Puzzle Rush"? The TYRANNIES play should be a good one.

There's a puzzle mode on Woogles, no pre-programmed Puzzle Rush like you see in chess but I did a video once where I timed myself -- that would be a great puzzle indeed (though super hard)

It would be interesting to see if you get better results starting with 1min and going up to 5. Seems a lot of losses in 4 and 2 min come from playing a bit slow, so if you start fast you'd be in the "go fast" mindset?

TYRANNIES also looks insanely high scoring; I believe that if you don't make something that's more than 10 letters long, the only higher scoring spots are shifting like ST(Y)RA(N)NIE and underlapping under CUTE forming BREEZY_I? (beating overlapping beside APLANAT and playing through BIO into the TW)
