    Ah Chris. It's been weeks and ear training has been challenging.
    I'm going to use the first 5 every day since I can do that without the piano. This way, I know I have these 5 things to do and makes practice structured.
    Thank you. I know this will work because I try to figure out tonic solfa of songs everyday.

    Hey bro, thanks for your great lesson, so helpful :) just looking at learning the chord progressions... can you kindly recommend timing for the chord progressions with 5 changes (progressions 4,8,9 &10)? How do you fit those ones into a bar, would you do one change at double time so it fits in? if so at which point?. my other question is when doing this exercise is the intention to stick them all together one after another in one long chain or is it better to sit with each progression for a few bars before moving onto the next one? thanks again for your generosity in sharing your skills my brother ❤

    Good afternoon. Please sir how do we practice the chords I don't understand. Do we keep playing them.? If my ear is not tuned I would hear all chords the same and I would not be able to distinguish between happy and sober. Please sir reply.

    • @PianoTutorialsWithChrisEbute
      @PianoTutorialsWithChrisEbute  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you keep playing them. As you keep playing them your subconscious mind is registering the different sounds without your knowledge. When you relate with it long enough you will start identifying the difference. I understand it's not that easy but it's a matter of time.

    Hello sir. What do the numbers in the last exercise mean? I do not understand. At number 1 you play C major and at number 4 you play C F A. I've been playing guitar for 3 years and I bought a midi keyboard about a week ago. I really want to improve my ear, but I'm having problems in some places because I've just started. I would be very grateful if you could help, sir. Stay with the music!

    • @PianoTutorialsWithChrisEbute
      @PianoTutorialsWithChrisEbute  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The numbers represent chords. So 1 means C chord which has C E G and 4 means F chord which has C F A or F A C for root position

      The reason is because your music ear is not developed yet so you find it difficult to identify music sounds and chords. The solution is to spend time on ear training exercises. The result doesn't show immediately so you will need to be patient in the journey. Check my tutorial No. 24 for some ear training exercises
