Ovela, you are right. Being in her concert and watching her in person is so awesome. I've been to several. I had the privilege actually watching her sing right in front of me only 6 to 8 feet away where I sat. She was still FRESH from winning a singing contest here in the
Philippines back in the 80's. Watching her on TV, win after win was awesome. But seeing and hearing her LIVE that very first time was GLORIOUS. I said to myself, this girl will definitely make it, and indeed she did. The name of the club was ODYSSEY in Makati City, Philippines. For her... it truly has been an epic journey. 32 years and she is still at it.
This was an older version of how she sang this song (one of the first). She sang it beautifully (as always) but you can clearly see that she was more after the power and the wow factor. Her later versions of this same song still has the power and the wow factor BUT it has added depth, sensitivity, shows vulnerability, a wider range, and stirs emotions.
The ones who requested for this should have given you guys the link to the correct video. It was supposed to be the one where she sang this sitting down on stage. Jus a tidbit info, She was supposed to be in original Miss Saigon, she already went to New york before but in the end she declined because she said she was not for Broadway especially with the kissing scene and she could not live away from her family, she missed them a lot.
I remember this concert, i was there in the audience, im sitting near Robin Padilla and just near Judy Ann Santos, it was my friend Carmen who bought my ticket, and take note this was recorded live and i have a copy of the CD as well. Regine also directs this show of her.

I'm one of those waiting for Regine's "what kind of fool am i" but apparently, this is is not the version we've been waiting i guest. because its title here in youtube is "THE BEST LIVE SINGER IN THE WORLD (What kind of fool I am)" I hope you can also see this video because this one is kinda old. By the way, Regine is the only vocalist in the Philippines that USUALLY uses orchestra and it's a kind of concert that you would never regret paying! I hope she could really visit your place and experience her greatness! Love you two. I will wait for more REGINE!!!
