The 12News Weather Impact Team and the National Hurricane Center are tracking Tracking Tropical Storm Francine which is expected to make landfall as a hurricane on the Louisiana Gulf Coast.

Because of the storm the 12News meteorologists have declared a weather impact alert for Wednesday, September 11.
Potential Tropical Cyclone Six formed into Tropical Storm Francine just before 10 a.m. Monday off the coast of Mexico.
The storm’s track Monday morning has continued to shift to the east putting Southeast Texas out of the cone of uncertainty.
