I don't think it was that she "didn't care", it was that she felt uncomfortable and was smiling uneasily because she doesn't know what else to do. I do feel like she was in the wrong for using the situationship as an excuse for being with someone else. I went through this when I was like 16 Im 30 now, and honestly this is a much needed experience every boy/man should go through. I am very grateful for going through this painful experience just like many other bad experiences bc it taught me a lot and shaped me to change/be better.
