    Great video with great background music. This video documents and memorializes this part of Kathmandu before the earthquake. Note the beautiful antique carvings attached to many of the buildings.

    pagoda style temples and buildings ..introduced by great architect Araniko from Nepal to China ,and other places..............................................consequently the whole world......................around 14th century

      pagoda is not nepali, it has much older history than you imagine, spanning more than 2000 years.

    How does the Durbar Square in Kathmandu look today? Has the place been restored? Was there huge damage to this beautiful place? Or God's temples remained intact?

      I heard about major damages, not sure how it is today. And afraid to go there again to find out it is not up to its former beauty 😥

      some already rebuilt and few still under construction but now the country has allmost recovered from that disaster and it's all safe to visit now 😇 welcome to explore nepal.

    Such interesting buildings and great zoom!! Watch out for those pigeons. That part only reminded me of Venice.

      yes, the video is from 2013 and the earthquake happened in 2015, the video shows Durbar square before the earthquake damaged it
