Today's video I tested 4 different waterproof label brands so you can see which one is right for you! (And you probably will be shocked at the results!) I quickly go over process of making the stickers with my Cricut Maker, but I linked several print then cut tutorials below for a more detailed video :)

Good video. I was surprised to see the results with the glossy paper from online labels because I've used it and put it under water several times right after printing and the ink doesn't move at all in my experience.
What printer did you use?

I've had luck using a self laminating sheet over my printed sticker and then cutting. It only works as long as the back doesn't get wet otherwise it's pretty good.

@@AmyMakesThat it's the Avery brand & they are called self-adhesive laminating sheets.
I do the same thing but it seems to when I cut it with my cricut the laminating sheet isn't being cut smoothly. Then when I run it under water it is not waterproof. Did this happen for you or do you have any idea how I might be able to fix it.

I've never made stickers and been watching so many videos.
I've seen people use the flatten tool on design space and also seen people do a offset around the sticker
I'm just wondering why you didn't and it still works out?

I have a question so if i were to start making things and just selling them to people i know or advertise it on facebook or any social media platform would i need a license for that. Or would i only need one if what i was selling turned into something bigger

Just a quick question... the sticky note setting just cuts the sticker where it can be removed from the sheet . It doesn't cut all the way through the sticker and backing to make separate individual stickers. Right?

Hi Kathleen! Depending on the sticker paper you use, it may cut all the way through. I was able to make separate individual stickers with the Sticky Note setting for the matte + glossy stickers! I hope this helps!!

My cricut for some reason isn’t catching/cutting the white outline I make on procreate for my stickers /: any tips on how I might be able to fix this? I’ve already tried making sure my paper is aligned with the cricut mat but still no progress ):

So which one was best?
I'd have to go with the Online Labels matte! But the Amazon matte also held up pretty well too.
Is there a specific setting you use for glossy paper? I have no problem cutting matte paper, but my print-to-cut will not work for glossy paper.
Try putting scotch tape on the registration on lines and the Cricut should have a better chance at recognizing it.
Can you use a laser colour printer (toner) instead of inkjet?
You can as long as the paper / vinyl supports it. I use a brand from Amazon called Aiva and they make matte and glossy vinyl sticker paper that's laser safe and I've had excellent results with it. My wife has one on her water tumbler and it's been there for a few months already and only shows minor signs of wear.
I generally think toner based printing on the right material is much more colorfast and durable than any inkjet solutions, and this one works really well for me so far!

@@neshmalifestyletv2737 If you keep your eyes out the HP LaserJet Pro 200 series usually goes on sale for around $200 from time to time at Staples and Best Buy. It's regularly $300 but I got mine for $200 about 8 years ago and it's still going strong! Prints color like a DREAM.

The online label did say "weatherproof" not water proof though
Yes I meant to say weatherproof in the audio recording, however weatherproof should still indicate that it can undergo all "weather" types!!
I'm not seeing a much of the difference in both of the matte options after 48hrs . Was hoping you would have done a side-by-side of those two after 48 hours.
agreed! there wasn't much of a difference (which is a good thing!) so if you decide to print + use your stickers within minutes of printing or 48 hours, you're good to go!
