It's not only the best selling console this generation, but it's surpassed the Wii and PS2 as the best selling console of all time. On top of that, at least 3 to 4 of the top 5 best selling games on any given month is from Nintendo. Animal Crossing: New Horizons for example, outsold new releases from other consoles many times over, even topping Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Pokemon Sword and Shield, which themselves already broke records as the best selling games this gen, with Animal Crossing: New Horizons becoming Nintendo's best selling game of all time. So yes Nintendo is the most popular this gen. It varies gen to gen. I'm not some fangirl that would deny facts due to some kind of bias, and I love my PS4 as much as I love my Switch. (Read my 2 comments below this for clarification)

yeah the switch didn't really seem like my kind of handheld and honestly I don't think it is but it is neat and I don't regret buying it. I just wish Sony would have stuck with their handhelds we would really have some amazing handheld consoles by now if they had. But instead Nintendo is complacent in not evolving or upgrading and instead just giving us sub optimal experiences. I just wish a switch pro would have came out by now lol but of course 4 years later im buying a regular ole switch. Oh well the games optimized for the switch are fun and some ports are well done too.
And I bought Celeste thanks to a mention he did with Arlo in one video. No joke BeatEmUps and other creators have given Nintendo tons of new costumers and the company instead of being thankfull, decides to do these stupid things with them. I own a PS5 so really didn't think the switch would be of interest to me. But I got convinced to get one to play ring fit and other exercise games. As that's one thing that playstation doesn't utilise.

It was because of that Breath of the Wild emulator you played. The did the same to Austin John when he was playing an emulated 4k Pokemon Sun and Moon. I know they are saying it was not your content. But Austin John got the same email months ago.

Honestly you convinced me to get a Switch. I am hardcore PS and Xbox gamer. Your series on eshop games showed me how many great Indi games there are on the Switch. We now have three of them in the house and about 50 games. This was such a bad decision. I don’t know if this is still up to date information, but before Nintendo was very strict about content creators doing anything related to their games. You used to have to be partnered with them to not got the videos flagged. If that’s still the case most likely anyone uploading heavily Nintendo oriented content is an ambassador of some type.
@@mcgoo721 they stopped that system near the release of the switch because they realized how unreasonable it was. Now you can just do whatever Nintendo content you want on YT, but they are still quite strict with re uploading music and stuff from their games. As we saw with sword and shield, they are not afraid to show no mercy. And then they created the ambassadors programme stuff because they realized that youtube as a platform was an easy way to get creators to review/play games and how it was basically free advertising. Now i dont know what they are doing, according to the info wood got they have a new kind of system, but what i think is happening is that they are basically reevaluating the system. The ambassador programme wood used to be in did little to nothing, as we see now with him and with a lot of other content creators, they just get given review codes regardless of being in the programme or not, the only thing the programme ever really did was get him invited to events at E3 and stuff, so basically noting is going to change for noone now it has gone, but i still just think that they are reevaluating how they approch YT as a form of advertisement, so i wouldn't be surprised if they came out with an announcement soon about a new form of YT content creators programme that is just a simple face lift. Like the transition from Club Nintendo to My Nintendo rewards programmes.

Dude, you’re the reason I bought my fricking Nintendo switch lite. I was watching your channel to see if the lite is worth it for someone who’s casual when gaming. I’ve had my lite for six months now and still play it. I have finished BOTW, currently playing SAO Hollow Realization, Animal Crossing and Mario Kart. I enjoy all of them. Sometimes I’d be spending late nights doing finals or projects and picking up the lite for a few hours helps me relax. Thank you

I literally wouldn't have bought three houses, a game that I have invested nearly 200 hours dispite it being a closed ended game, because of your review. That same game made me get a better liking of rpg type games and made me buy other games like dragon quest 11 for switch.

I really like Wood’s channel, and I enjoy his content, but Nintendo did exactly the right thing. Wood used an emulator, which was good content, but is not appreciated by Nintendo.
Honestly you convinced me to get a Switch. I am hardcore PS and Xbox gamer. Your series on eshop games showed me how many great Indi games there are on the Switch. We now have three of them in the house and about 50 games. This was such a bad decision. Also it was your fun energy in your videos that even got me to watch the channel and watching got us to purchase 3 Switch units. So sorry this happened to you.

I don’t know if this is still up to date information, but before Nintendo was very strict about content creators doing anything related to their games. You used to have to be partnered with them to not got the videos flagged. If that’s still the case most likely anyone uploading heavily Nintendo oriented content is an ambassador of some type.
@@mcgoo721 they stopped that system near the release of the switch because they realized how unreasonable it was. Now you can just do whatever Nintendo content you want on YT, but they are still quite strict with re uploading music and stuff from their games. As we saw with sword and shield, they are not afraid to show no mercy. And then they created the ambassadors programme stuff because they realized that youtube as a platform was an easy way to get creators to review/play games and how it was basically free advertising. Now i dont know what they are doing, according to the info wood got they have a new kind of system, but what i think is happening is that they are basically reevaluating the system. The ambassador programme wood used to be in did little to nothing, as we see now with him and with a lot of other content creators, they just get given review codes regardless of being in the programme or not, the only thing the programme ever really did was get him invited to events at E3 and stuff, so basically noting is going to change for noone now it has gone, but i still just think that they are reevaluating how they approch YT as a form of advertisement, so i wouldn't be surprised if they came out with an announcement soon about a new form of YT content creators programme that is just a simple face lift. Like the transition from Club Nintendo to My Nintendo rewards programmes.

Dude, you’re the reason I bought my fricking Nintendo switch lite. I was watching your channel to see if the lite is worth it for someone who’s casual when gaming. I’ve had my lite for six months now and still play it. I have finished BOTW, currently playing SAO Hollow Realization, Animal Crossing and Mario Kart. I enjoy all of them. Sometimes I’d be spending late nights doing finals or projects and picking up the lite for a few hours helps me relax. Thank you

I literally wouldn't have bought three houses, a game that I have invested nearly 200 hours dispite it being a closed ended game, because of your review. That same game made me get a better liking of rpg type games and made me buy other games like dragon quest 11 for switch.
