Lovely video guys. Bit of trivia, Chilli Beach was one of Steve Irwin's favourite places. With all the crocs etc. He named his dog Chilli after it, and Bob Irwin's place out near Kingaroy is called Camp Chilli. It's where they first started catching crocs.

Hey @The outfit, that nice hat you found, that was mine. My wife left it on the front of our camper after we had a rest stop.
We meet you guy's as we were leaving the sign at the tip.
How funny! Yes losers weepers, however, I got to buy one from Punsand Bay Camping :)
& yes, it was brand new :)

Was great to see how the location of the spirit levels works perfectly to help position Bowser with a simple glance from the cab.

The Taipan is not to be fooled with. They were out hunting the small mammals. They can strike the length they bend back so you have to keep your distance, they are very fast and very deadly. Great shots though, but you'd be surprised how fast a big snake can be in your face. I once disturbed one at chest height in the striking pose less than a foot way. I lived to tell the tale.

Fantastic episode as usual, love your spotlighting, there is so much to see at night. When handling the green tree frog make sure your hands are wet as the acids n oils on our hands can burn their skin

1:38 .. I was looking on the ground and got amazed how it could be guessed if the truck is level, then I spotted those bubble levels - what a great hack!
22:55 .. awesome! I hate to see mankind plastic (and garbage in general) footprints everywhere and in bigger quantities every year. Love to see that there are other people who walks with trash bags ready.

Hey Chris and Ange, love from Singapore. As a Singaporean, I have to point out that coconuts taste better when they are more green. The greener it is, the younger it is, the sweeter the "juice" (liquid inside) is. The yellower the coconut is, the older it is, the more difficult it is to open and tend to be less sweet. Here in Southeast Asia, we always drink young coconut (green), hence young haha.

Lovely trip guys, Iron Range is one of my favourite spots ! Yep it was a Brown-Headed Snake, as for Green Python, unless you're lucky it takes many nights walking to spot one, I'm usually there for about 10 days each time and might see one or two ! Often you'll find Spotted Cuscus and/or Grey Cuscus close to the camps especially if the mangos are fruiting. And the glider was a Striped Possum, not many people know we even have these here ! Did you manage to spot Riflebirds, Palm Cockatoos or Eclectus Parrots ?

  • @justinrhys

Yup...brown headed snake mate, the scales are really distinctive. Bite is medically significant, but not as much as a Taipan!

No mate Goannas are different. That is a Monitor. Monitor lizards have 2 chambered hearts Goannas have 3 chambers.
Australians don't call Monitors Goannas. Great Nautilus shell. It is not often you find them so intact and not bleached.
