Marc Andre Fleury I am so proud of you. To lead the first franchise NHL team to a Stanley Cup Final in its first year of inception. Amazing.

He felt responsible for letting in that fourth goal, and I don't blame him. He should have had it.
I don't feel too bad, though, because those kinds of misfortunes were plaguing us for 13 years, and we finally had some going our way for a change. After winning the Stanley Cup three times, eventually you'll lose. Some players go their entire careers without reaching the mountaintop.

There was another video of this interview that was titled "Fleury Apologizes…" it was slightly longer and had a lot more views. I'm wondering where it went.

Most Washington goals were an impossible task for a goaltender. The Eller goal that won the Cup wasn't good but throughout the series Vegas' defense failed to do their job. Fleury was a stud that carried Vegas through the first three rounds. Washington was just too deep, too skilled, and too hungry. They would not be denied.

I absolutely agree! Washington was much hungrier. And Fleury can't do it all, all by himself. It takes support from your defense and it just wasn't there.

Pro athletes who have trained their entire lives to win and make at the very least $650,000 a year don't generally take money to lose. Sure an individual here and there may take the money but in a team game the paid to lose thing doesn't really hold water. Washington was a better coached, more prepared, experienced, and talented group. Vegas would have lost to Columbus, Tampa, Pittsburgh, Boston, or Toronto. The Eastern Conference is just better than the Western Conference right now. I don't think Vegas fans really understand the teams they played on the way to the Finals were not as good as most of the playoff teams from the East.

Well you are a very selfish person mr fleury. You are not happy for someone who finally beat your team in 14 years. I have seen classy pens, Phillies, Rangers players happy for the guy to finally win it
Now I get it why the non-pens fans hated that organization so much.
    Show some respect...
I don't see anything special about all your cup wins accept that they were won by offence, not by goaltending. Yeah one save here and there. But totally got owned in the SCF here.
