They could have easily lied and said it was a scam and the worst thing they've every witnessed just to push a false narrative but this was a full honest opinion and I think it's worth noting! The Ace Family has been an “enemy” of the show for a long time, even to the point of a content court, but still everyone gave an honest review of their experiences. They definitely did say the food would be free. I’m pretty sure it was in the first or second video regarding Ace fest, they said free games, free rides, free food. The parking was supposed to be free too, everything was supposed to be covered by the insane mark up of a ticket. This was a typical traveling summer fair with an insane ticket price. This exact fair (but with way more rides) has an unlimited rides wristband for about $60 CDN, and it does typically have a band playing or multiple bands, and usually a petting zoo is set up in a pop up barn. I’m pretty sure the fair just wanted to come to Lancaster but hadn’t garnered enough interest or maybe didn’t have a location or investor and Ace saw how cheap it could be with alittle research. You put some money down, reassure the fair company that you have a crazy following making it worth their while (they’d already be paying them all for the day considering games being free is a big money maker in the fair, but if he’s doing an insane mark up and has “sold the event out twice” maybe they got the interest of the fair to come at a very reduced price), replace the toys in the games with leftover merch, and sell unlimited wristbands at almost triple the price for one person and then have a package for five people as the only two options. I would say it was atleast, an attempt to scam at very least.

I have a story about prolapse.. I suffer from vaginal prolapse as a result of childbirth, and one day on reddit, wanting to find my people with a similar experience, I searched "prolapse" on reddit. What I found was a whole community of people purposefully doing this to themselves. It is ABSOLUTELY a kink. What has been seen can never be unseen.

I think the issue with the Ace Fam is they over estimate their “fans”. Yes they may have millions of subscribers however if you throw an event how many of those actually live in California.. they need to re-evaluate the size of their events, hire smaller local stadiums, grounds etc. and that way the event will actually be sold out and create buzz within their fans to attend the next event… they need to hire a marketing team 😂
Yes!! With the Paul brothers is diferent because their model is marketing towards the haters which are adults with spending powers but the ACE family is kids so i dont get why they dont shift the strategy. Sorry for the rant
Exactly, while we didn’t have hope they’d pull this one off due to their track record, if they managed to make a bunch of their fans happy and actually took their safety and comfort into consideration (with the water and shade etc) then can’t really complain. I just went to a local show and it was incredibly expensive compared to this and no free water. all in all could’ve been much worse.
They're acting like it actually was Disneyland and not just a parking lot carnival. Ethan doesn't seem to know how much things cost: your local church puts on a similar event once or twice a year for less than $10K. They are right that insurance would probably be the biggest expense, but when exactly in the past have the McBrooms actually paid the basic expenses for things that need to be paid? I guarantee the biggest expenses here were security and whatever it cost to have banners printed up. Literally everything else was pre-fab from a professional carnival company (again, these run ~$10-20K max) and the "prizes" were leftover merch they couldn't sell. These fuckers made close to a million bucks on a parking lot carnival and probably spent about $50K to put it on.

Thing is what they offered for $100-$121 per person was a joke. They promised Disneyland meets Coachella and delivered a mediocre carnival, it was a scam.
If you take into consideration that the rides and games were free and the games had prizes, the cost of the tickets are actually pretty fair. It looked pretty ugly for sure but it’s a carnival. There was also a meet and greet with them which also has a lot of extra value to actual fans of theirs
@@ml3705 did you see the prizes tho? 😭 all old merchandise that they couldn’t sell; scarves, lanyards, hoodies and even old Christmas ball decorations. Atozy did a few interviews and many of their fans were dissatisfied. Even with the free rides and games, it just wasn’t worth it whatsoever in my opinion. I understand the meet and greet is very valuable to some fans, but that just makes me a little concerned for humanity 🥲
The main thing was meeting the Mc.Brooms. I’ve paid 500 to meet Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie. I’d pay that to meet Ethan and Hila too. I guess it’s all in how much you like the creator wether it’s worth it 🤷🏻♀️

I think the difference between the H3 crew going and drama channels going was that they were going as a group. That group dynamic probably boosted how much more fun they had because they got to hang out with each other and also make fun of things that were lame and just generally put what possibly could have been a bad situation into a good one. Most of these drama TH-camrs seem to have gone by themselves so all they really could do was to criticize the event and mock it. This is exactly why they have that VIP family pack. It's not mean for someone to go by themselves. I can understand why it felt so miserable to all the TH-camrs that went alone. It also helps that the H3 crew made this out to be more of a sketch for the show than to generate drama. After viewing everything that has come out about the festival I don't think it's a total scam but I do think they did the bare minimum to maximize profits. Basically like most of the Ace Family stuff it's organized real half-assed at best and definitely didn't warrant whatever price point the entrance fee was. Had this been like 20 bucks to get in or 50 bucks with an included meet and greet I'd say it would probably be more worth it. The fact that you can pay less for an individual ticket to enter Disneyland and Disney's not on the outskirts of LA is mindblowing.

This was a typical traveling summer fair with an insane ticket price. This exact fair (but with way more rides) has an unlimited rides wristband for about $60 CDN, and it does typically have a band playing or multiple bands, and usually a petting zoo is set up in a pop up barn.
I’m pretty sure the fair just wanted to come to Lancaster but hadn’t garnered enough interest or maybe didn’t have a location or investor and Ace saw how cheap it could be with alittle research. You put some money down, reassure the fair company that you have a crazy following making it worth their while (they’d already be paying them all for the day considering games being free is a big money maker in the fair, but if he’s doing an insane mark up and has “sold the event out twice” maybe they got the interest of the fair to come at a very reduced price), replace the toys in the games with leftover merch, and sell unlimited wristbands at almost triple the price for one person and then have a package for five people as the only two options. I would say it was atleast, an attempt to scam at very least.

I think the issue with the Ace Fam is they over estimate their “fans”. Yes they may have millions of subscribers however if you throw an event how many of those actually live in California.. they need to re-evaluate the size of their events, hire smaller local stadiums, grounds etc. and that way the event will actually be sold out and create buzz within their fans to attend the next event… they need to hire a marketing team 😂

Exactly, while we didn’t have hope they’d pull this one off due to their track record, if they managed to make a bunch of their fans happy and actually took their safety and comfort into consideration (with the water and shade etc) then can’t really complain. I just went to a local show and it was incredibly expensive compared to this and no free water. all in all could’ve been much worse.

They're acting like it actually was Disneyland and not just a parking lot carnival. Ethan doesn't seem to know how much things cost: your local church puts on a similar event once or twice a year for less than $10K.
They are right that insurance would probably be the biggest expense, but when exactly in the past have the McBrooms actually paid the basic expenses for things that need to be paid? I guarantee the biggest expenses here were security and whatever it cost to have banners printed up. Literally everything else was pre-fab from a professional carnival company (again, these run ~$10-20K max) and the "prizes" were leftover merch they couldn't sell.
These fuckers made close to a million bucks on a parking lot carnival and probably spent about $50K to put it on.
Meet and greets alone are way over $150

Thing is what they offered for $100-$121 per person was a joke. They promised Disneyland meets Coachella and delivered a mediocre carnival, it was a scam.
If you take into consideration that the rides and games were free and the games had prizes, the cost of the tickets are actually pretty fair. It looked pretty ugly for sure but it’s a carnival. There was also a meet and greet with them which also has a lot of extra value to actual fans of theirs
@@ml3705 did you see the prizes tho? 😭 all old merchandise that they couldn’t sell; scarves, lanyards, hoodies and even old Christmas ball decorations. Atozy did a few interviews and many of their fans were dissatisfied. Even with the free rides and games, it just wasn’t worth it whatsoever in my opinion. I understand the meet and greet is very valuable to some fans, but that just makes me a little concerned for humanity 🥲
The main thing was meeting the Mc.Brooms. I’ve paid 500 to meet Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie. I’d pay that to meet Ethan and Hila too. I guess it’s all in how much you like the creator wether it’s worth it 🤷🏻♀️

I think the difference between the H3 crew going and drama channels going was that they were going as a group. That group dynamic probably boosted how much more fun they had because they got to hang out with each other and also make fun of things that were lame and just generally put what possibly could have been a bad situation into a good one. Most of these drama TH-camrs seem to have gone by themselves so all they really could do was to criticize the event and mock it. This is exactly why they have that VIP family pack. It's not mean for someone to go by themselves. I can understand why it felt so miserable to all the TH-camrs that went alone. It also helps that the H3 crew made this out to be more of a sketch for the show than to generate drama.
After viewing everything that has come out about the festival I don't think it's a total scam but I do think they did the bare minimum to maximize profits. Basically like most of the Ace Family stuff it's organized real half-assed at best and definitely didn't warrant whatever price point the entrance fee was. Had this been like 20 bucks to get in or 50 bucks with an included meet and greet I'd say it would probably be more worth it. The fact that you can pay less for an individual ticket to enter Disneyland and Disney's not on the outskirts of LA is mindblowing.
@@user-ym6pu4vn4t I was comparing a single entry ticket to Disneyland to a single entry ticket to Ace Fest not that $500 for a family pack. The price point for an individual ticket is not too far off from each other. Sometimes Disney is even cheaper depending on when you go.
