After their latest Nintendo Emulatoin Video… I highly doubt Nintendo will actually Sponsor them. Its more likely they sue them. Edit: Which dont get me wrong… i hope not and i think its fair to use Emulation if you have the Device and the Game. But its Nintendo…
@@flimermithrandir Nintendo probably wouldn't sue for that. Emulation is fair use and protected by law as competition to consoles in US. It's not like they were distributing copies of games online
@@willwunsche6940 Well no. Fair use yes if you can get the Copy legally. Which is not a Thing. As soon as you bypass Copyright Protection its over. I know that normally nothing will happen and i do think its ok for your own use as well. But that doesnt make it Legal all of a sudden. It really sucks.
@@flimermithrandir The key component for Nintendo to be able to sue whoever was distributing the emulated copies was if that distributer was making profit. Nintendo will get nowhere fast trying to hunt down and shut down everyone posting the emulated game files for free for everyone. Especially if it's some no-name account and random location. Nintendo can legitimately crack down on the emulated games if either 1- the distributer was making profit. or 2-the emulated game copies are used to access online play to nintendo servers.

The argument that Apple's IP is at risk for sharing a schematic is absolutely insane. The secret sauce is internal to each SOC on the board, the specifics of which would not be visible on a board schematic. The simple discrete components such as capacitors, resistors, diodes, et cetera can be reverse engineered extremely easily without schematics.
And even if they were to publish the internals of their SoC, who the fuck could even manage to reproduce that thing in any manner conceivably harmful to the business? The only ones capable of producing Apple's SoCs is TSMC, the very company that produces them for Apple. The only other companies with the capability to produce 5nm chips would be Intel or Samsung, both of whom have their own products and would never commit legal suicide by blatantly copying a competitor's chips.
@@dhanushm6557 if it means they will make more money, then I support them using every legal way to make money. It would be horrible if it was a company with products we actually need,
On the switch save data: My switch got stolen a few years ago. I didn't have online so no save backups. Lost a hundred hours or so of game data on some of the games. What they don't realise is that it puts people off buying a new console when something like this happens.
I just got a new switch cause my old one died due to the charging IC issue. Lost my animal crossing island with 300 hours of play since Nintendo refuses to help me restore back my saves using the island backup restoration service. You can’t even restore it yourself from the game menu using the normal switch online game saves method. Horrible implementation of backing up saves for game with lack of standardisation
A NAS conversion kit or guide for Framework mainboards would be a pretty good way to reuse them after upgrading. Low power, low profile, and decent performance. They seem to be perfect candidates for a DIY NAS.
@@suppar8066 Yeah. A couple of adapters to change m.2 and usb thunderbolt to SATA, they're pretty cheap. Enough to get 4-6 ports. Not sure what the impact to performance would be, but for a DIY NAS, it should be decent enough. Of course, no one should buy a framework mainboard just to make a NAS, an ITX or optiplex would be more practical. But it would be a interesting way to reuse it after upgrading.

Anthony should have a Short Show just like Andy Rooney did on 60 minutes back in the day when it was good. Just his rant of the week somewhere in the middle of LAN Show then They can laugh about it and talk about his Rant or Hot Take of the Week.
Used to be a thing, my 1994 Buick Park avenue, and my 2005 Lincoln town car both have these massive service manuals. Now, there's an instruction pamphlet telling you not to drink the contents of the battery.
Instead of encouraging your family to read ebooks, encourage them to visit your local library. You get the benefits of feeling physical books withouth having them take space in your home. Also there's only single energy cost to print them instead of having servers/tablets make/keep multiple copies of the same ebook. Win win!
I wonder how the math would work out on the energy savings. Tablets have benefits beyond ebooks and relatively low energy requirements (especially e-ink devices). Servers for storing/distributing them also should be pretty trivial because they're tiny, infrequently downloaded files. Meanwhile going to the library almost certainly requires driving (in North America because we're a continent for cars, not people) which seems like it'd almost immediately overwhelm the tablet/ebook and server energy usage.
I was scrolling down to see if anyone else pointed this out after making my comment haha libraries shaped who I was and the kind of stuff I know today and whether it was just going there for a cool place in the summer or for a stack of new books that I would never have known about otherwise, I'm super grateful for libraries :o)
Love how Linus essentialy told Nintendo to f*ck off, just very politely. I'm glad the channel is in a financial position good enough to refuse certain sponsorships, and that's why I turn off adblocker for LTT videos and seldom skip plugs.
Will you guys do another review of the Framework Laptop once you have the 12 Gen version? Would be interesting to see the performance upgrades, how the thermals are doing (I'm worried about that little single fan) and other little things that the company has improved thanks to the feedback from customers (the new plate, the trackpad issue, the hinges, etc) You could also show the projects the community is doing with the mainboards and if there're any new expansion cards
I don't think they will review Framework laptops anymore, because it's an obvious conflict of interest. They might do an unboxing on Short Circuit, but you should look elsewhere for reviews.
@@bbqR0ADK1LL They should show the company's work somehow. I think Linus said that his main goal with Framework is not to earn money, but to help the company to be successful, 'cause he believes in their vision. And the main way to do that is using his status as a public figure. In this episode of WAN Show, Linus said that if Framework starts doing something wrong he will have a "breakup" with them; a very public and messy one. So I think the opposite should be happening too, if they are making a good work they should be acknowledge publicly.
@@bbqR0ADK1LL they could just do it like with an other laptop now that Linus reviews: „I am invested in framework“ he could add that this his review is biased and therefore he can only share his enthusiasm but not a concrete product recommendation
I turned one of my spare bedrooms into a theater room, it was on a budget so I used affordable options, like a pioneer vsx 1131 receiver that I got on Black Friday for $300, bookshelf speakers are 25 bucks each, a $200 12-in subwoofer, etc. For the walls I just bought king size blankets and sheets, thumb tack them to the walls, that absorbs most of the light and sound so there's no echo in the room. And then I bought some cheap single person recliners, and for less than the price of a moderately sized television, built an entire theater that never makes you want to go to the movies ever again!
Speaking of Steam deck leaving Luke hanging... EVGA still hasn't emailed me about buying an rtx 3080 card even though I've been in the queue waiting list for over 2 years (since the day the queue thing was started for it) and you can easily buy any 3080 you want at Newegg at or near msrp now. So wtf EVGA, was the queue list all fake? Now I can't even log into their website because account logins are for some reason broken. Definitely a Strike 1 for them in my opinion. This is not how you treat your customers.
Oh yeah, I also entered the queue ages ago. Yeah, I saw that queue idea as a very good thing. Such a good thing in fact, that I recommended people buy EVGA stuff because they're not as big of an asshole as other companies. Turns out, EVGA is just as terrible as everyone else (ended up buying an ASUS TUF version for near MSRP, 2 months ago).
Since you've been in a queue for 2 years you are probably in a discontinued model and should have recieved an email letting you update the model without losing your spot in the queue
Poor Luke, I ordered my Steam Deck because I got reminded of it watching the recording of the WAN show back then and already have it for over two weeks now. 😂
To be fair, in the case of tesla releasing service manuals for free, this is pretty cool. Most manufacturers only offer their service manuals for cars made after 2015 as a "pay per day" deal at over $100 a day
I remember the first car I purchased that still had a manufacturer's warranty, which was a 2003 Kia Sedona. I was pretty impressed to learn that they provided their service manuals online for free. They had taken the manuals down by the time I actually needed it, which turned me off to the brand, though I was very happy with the van until it was in a minor fender bender and got totaled (because vans don't really hold their value for very long, even if they are super low mileage). Unfortunately, my wife loved the Dodge Journey, which is engineered to make even the most minor things a major pain in the butt. I was able to purchase the service manual for an older truck on Ebay for a few bucks, which was nice.
Man LTT is a dream work-place, I'd love to work and then randomly do things like help Linus move or have to be in a shoot because someone's not available. It's the kinda excitement usual jobs lack lol
I think that's a really nice use case. Considering how small it is, as long as you can provide enough airflow, it seems trivial compared to the more complicated projects like Sophia or Linus' desk PCs.
Companies, with the money they have, can easily reverse engineer or just straight up analyze the product to get what's worth having out of it themselves so I don't see how not providing schematics would be compromising to a company's IP.
@@alexanderkhan9097 if companies were to release schematics, it would probably be with a consumer launch or a short time after. Even if a competitor used schematics in their own design, they would still be affected by the long lead times and it probably wouldn't save them much time over reverse engineering a product.
Its never about revers engining ist about component makers wanting to controle the OEM relationships. Intel for example does not publicly publish the chips set and cpu socket operating voltages etc so that is all under an NDA that you must sign and thus cant share! So If you share a schematic with this info your in breach of this NDA. But doing this intel ensure that anyone wanting to make a product with an intel cpu in it needs to sign a contract with them this gives them a LOT of control and that is what they want. (not just intel, also AMD, Nvidia and many other IC makers want this controle so they do not publish public spec sheets of the components but instraed share this under very strict NDA terms). for framework if they were to breach this im sure the penalty cost would completely bankrupt them and they would almost certainly have C level staff end up in prison (yes breaching these NDAs can lead to prison time as its considered steaming trade secrets).... to make this clear Intel do not do this to stop AMD from knowing this info they do it to controle who uses intel chips and ensure that everyone who uses intel chips must buy them directly from intel!
The ability to use the new framework laptop motherboard out of the case to make a custom SFF PC of some kind, is AMAZING 😍🤩 This is such a cool concept and I can think of so many cool things you could put this in!
Am I missing something here? They are talking like releasing schematics day one would cause replica’s to increase exponentially. But this isn’t true, if you want to make a clone of something you x-ray the board, most chips have what they are printed on them, and resistors & caps could just be measured. So replicating another companies hardware wouldn’t require anything more than buying the device. I mean the people that wouldn’t have the time/money to reverse engineer a product also likely wouldn’t have the time/money to actually produce a clone at any level of scale. So what is the argument here?
It has never been about duplicates the reason you cant release schematics is if you do that you cant use some of the big name components who's data sheets are not public and thus to buy the parts you need to sign very strict NDAs that include info about what voltages etc are needed to run these parts. Intel would sue Framework into the ground if they released full schematics as the data sheets for these types of complex components are not public and if framework released thier schematics that would be in effect sharing info that is currently under NDA.
It’s a complicated situation all around. Many big name component makers will not license their products to people without requiring an NDA/business agreement of some sort to keep their particular component details secret. Additionally, the value proposition of analysis and reverse engineering many products isn’t worth the hassle to some counterfeiters, but as soon as that information is freely available it would change the balance of that choice. It would become less a question of “is it worth it to do research to copy product x” to “which of these products will cost the least to copy” Now personally, I’m pretty... out there with my opinions on copyright law, trademark law, economic systems... but I can see why a company might fear the information being out there
@@connorblack99 the reason benchers like Nvidia require NDAs is not about them being worried stuff will leak its about controle over the products that use their parts.
1:19:45 an easy way for it to work would be requiring the disk to authenticate the license once every X time, they could make X very short for new releases (like daily or every couple days) but for any older title make it validate monthly or something could also just be the disc has to be there, which would already be an improvement for series s/ps5 digital
Three companies two of which were very important just up and shut down suddenly. 1. Second Sight. Synthetic eyes. 350 people. No support. No schematics. 2. Insteon. Smart homes. All devices stopped connecting to the central server. 3. Fast. One click checkout. All employees suddenly jobless.
It’s a real shame that Haynes manuals have fallen out of fashion. A company that completely reverse engineers cars and makes a manual not just with wiring diagrams but shows you how to do most if not all jobs to that car.
I still buy Haynes manuals when I buy vehicles . I don’t get brand new cars so idk if they make them still. But I’ve overhauled an engine only off the info in them.
I’m sure in days gone by the manufacturers worked with Haynes to make those manuals. Whereas today they get no help, if people like Haynes make a good manual then people won’t need to take their cars back to the stealership to be serviced
My understanding of the Microsoft Patent was that you could pop the disc into your Xbox 360 and it would allow you to play on your Xbox Series S as long as the disc was in the Xbox 360 and the 360 was still connected over LAN or WAN to your diskless Xbox. So you would be "hosting" the disc remotely.
IP professional here, there are already IP rights specifically for board designs. In the UK these are called semiconductor topography rights and generally give 10 years protection. Seems to exist in Canada too under a different name under the Integrated Circuit Topography Act. For the women’s merch, the small LTT logos now included on the clothes are nice, but I’m not convinced by the bigger ‘tech tips’ lettering. Any chance we can get the items with the small LTT logo but without the lettering?
I bought a Technical Service Manual for my car. There are actually three giant paperback books, even though they're sold as a single product. I think I paid $100-150. Really great to have, even if you only work on your car once every few years. I would definitely not want to "rent" a TSM. I want it permanently. Also in a mechanic shop, they have entire bookshelves full of TSMs for all manner of different cars. There's no way $3200 per year per car would be good for them. Think about it... That Tesla TSM is only for one model, not for all Teslas. Now start adding in other manufacturers. It's not feasible.
I think EOL is a big problem with MMO's, because there seems to be a huge reluctance to release the netcode which is needed to create new servers to play on. Marvel Heroes, Darkspore, Starwars mmo, matrix mmo, star wars clone wars adventures, dawngate, rise of immortals/battle for graxia, and probably a hundred others. They don't 'disappear' in every case, but certainly the netcode and servercode are gone despite representing tens of thousands of work-hours to produce. I mean common.
First party repaid - Replace broken "board" 3rd party repair - Locate the broken component on the board and revive it to a functional state. First party repaid handle a huge amount of clients and the technical staff have to be huge which results in tons of low skilled workers and to avoid a bad reputation and speedup the process and to avoid errors they replace "parts" with known working once made in the factory. 3rd party repair are usually made up off small teams being very dedicated to what they do which means they can actually findout what caused the problem and spend the time to solve it. They tend to offer a different service and are not competing with each other.
Just curious: given that any given laptop's GPU will always be throttled by their form factor (ie temp, power, etc), what, in your opinion, makes a laptop's GPU measurably good enough to warrant buying? At what point do you sacrafrice portabilitity for raw GPU performance? Because you'll never have the best of both worlds. It's always going to be one or the other.
@@alexanderkhan9097I don't care about top tier performance and I don't necessarily want to buy multi-thousand dollar laptop and a desktop. For me a laptop with a moderately decent GPU that is good enough for the games I want to play and doesn't have the compatibility issues you would have with an integrated GPU.
@@alexanderkhan9097 not to mention laptops are getting better and better and overcoming their thermal constraints. While I doubt they'll ever be as good as a desktop, laptops can still have significant performance benefits compared to what they used to be relative to a desktop.
@@Mayo-dj6ew that can be more costly than having an dedicated GPU. If a laptop maker makes a laptop good enough, there might not be much of a performance difference between a laptop GPU constrained by thermals versus a GPU over a thunderbolt connection.
Linus: Yes we can reverse engineer it, but we might not have some 'quirks' worked out for manufacturing if we do that. So releasing just schematics is already a huge step.
From a content creators perspective ingame skins can be a great investment. They make the gun look “cooler” and increase engagement (especially in the thumbnail a good skin can be a 5% CTR increase). It’s a niche use case but it’s how I justify my skin purchases
7:52 i watched Rossman's video on the schematics. And I said there, I think if they waited 1 year before releasing the full schematics that would be a good compromise. Presumably it's under warranty at that point, and hopefully there aren't any major repairs and things that need done in that time. And then they have a year where competitors just can't straight up copy them easily. Maybe 6 months? Idk. I know part of it is for diy people too. But, methinks if I'm diy I wouldn't be in such a hurry that I could wait 6-12 months for the full schematic to do what I want to do. Presumably it's a long term thing and not a quick prototype. And in the future, there will always be the year's prior laptop that I could buy if I wanted schematics immediately
Framework should make a 4x4 box that lets you plug in up to 16 of the little box things and plug one or two USB-C cables into it- the greatest hub ever made.
Probably the most useful thing for manufacturers to provide in regards to repair is a board view that shows all the components and gives them labels (with enough detail to know exactly what part you need to buy to replace it). Its not like they have to give out all the secrets (they can still do the old trick of giving an otherwise off the shelf part a proprietary marking to hide what it really is plus most of the secrets are internal to the chip and not something you can find out by looking at schematics)
The hammer people should make a shirt that says: "I Kickstarted a hammer, and all i got was this stupid shirt", and a letter apologizing for not delivering on their promises.

i have a internet company that limits how many devices can be on my wi-fi. to get more device slots i have to pay for a higher tier package. i have no idea of the logic behind that. this nickel and dime stuff really needs to be legislated i also can't cap my data. i get 1TB as part of my package. if i go over i have to pay for every so many GB i use after that. by my calculations it can be up to $200 for another 1TB. i asked them to cap my data so that when it ran out i would just stop getting internet and they said they don't do that
if you've got the money and are willing to go through the hassle, you can replace the router with your own one to get around their artificial limit and set your own cap
I totally believe they're working on day one applicants. I had mine in within the first ten minutes of launch, maybe sooner, and I only got it two weeks ago. I didn't get my order in faster only because I had to keep refreshing when it crashed.
There are a ~lot of small and powerful boards outside, just surprised they didn't take the initiative to develop a brand and a laptop enclosure on top of it
I'm really hoping what framework is doing makes headlines because we could possibly see diy laptops like we do when we build full scale desktops. That in itself would create a HUGE market. We already diy kit for absolutely everything just about. Diy keyboards and some mice. And other PC's.
Please make a video about how noticeable the differences between Headphone Amps/Dacs are. I would love that as I'm thinking about investing in some more audiophile-grade gear
Playing the new Lego Star Wars in my element feel like a kid again but following the cash shop front just having a game where you get to try unlock everything rather than pay to win/unlock is a great feeling!
@Linus you say no laptop manufacturers have schematic available, yet Ive got my clevo schematics right here. Granted, medium effort is required to dig them up as they dont officially give them out to customers, but its not too hard to get your hands on a service manual for ANY clevo laptop. If you're skilled enough to be able make the schematics useful you should have no problem getting your hands on them
Ive’s point was that Apple no longer has a focus on innovation and instead of growing the business. Will Apple sacrifice the iPhone by making it redundant with a new product? They used to operate by a mantra of killing their own products.
I don't know if they'll ever become something huge, but I love their design and I will get one when I have the moneys. I would love if they had a Ryzen model, but seeing they're following through on the upgradable path I'm in for buying what's available now and changing out the motherboard later.
Luke, if you're a "boomer boy," I'm Franklin Delano Roosevelt. 1:20:08 Dang stuff like this is why I seriously respect Linus and LMG. Nintendo reaching out to sponsor LMG is super interesting and your response is perfect

The ants that are us vs the millions of dollars in lobbying
And even if they were to publish the internals of their SoC, who the fuck could even manage to reproduce that thing in any manner conceivably harmful to the business? The only ones capable of producing Apple's SoCs is TSMC, the very company that produces them for Apple. The only other companies with the capability to produce 5nm chips would be Intel or Samsung, both of whom have their own products and would never commit legal suicide by blatantly copying a competitor's chips.

I love that you can buy the Framework board by itself. I really want to try using it in a desk like Razer's Project Sophia.
I think that's a really nice use case. Considering how small it is, as long as you can provide enough airflow, it seems trivial compared to the more complicated projects like Sophia or Linus' desk PCs.
May open up a whole new market in sleeper laptops.
Companies, with the money they have, can easily reverse engineer or just straight up analyze the product to get what's worth having out of it themselves so I don't see how not providing schematics would be compromising to a company's IP.
When there is a massive lead time for development, those hardware schematics can be more valuable than you think

It would become less a question of “is it worth it to do research to copy product x” to “which of these products will cost the least to copy”
Now personally, I’m pretty... out there with my opinions on copyright law, trademark law, economic systems... but I can see why a company might fear the information being out there
@@connorblack99 the reason benchers like Nvidia require NDAs is not about them being worried stuff will leak its about controle over the products that use their parts.

1:19:45 an easy way for it to work would be requiring the disk to authenticate the license once every X time, they could make X very short for new releases (like daily or every couple days) but for any older title make it validate monthly or something

The pub scene in the first Kingsman movie is one of my favourites of all time.
It’s a real shame that Haynes manuals have fallen out of fashion. A company that completely reverse engineers cars and makes a manual not just with wiring diagrams but shows you how to do most if not all jobs to that car.
Agreed. I've still got one got most cars that I have owned.
yup, used to be the first thing I'd buy after I, or a family member, bought a new/used car would be the haynes, or equivalent, service manual for it.

I literally didn't know there was another Kingsman movie until just now. So I am 6 months late... Thanks for the update.

Earth and Beyond is the one I probably miss most.
First party repaid - Replace broken "board"
3rd party repair - Locate the broken component on the board and revive it to a functional state.
If Framework made a laptop with a dedicated GPU, that'd be my next upgrade.
All we need are thunderbolt port for egpu
@@Mayo-dj6ew that can be more costly than having an dedicated GPU. If a laptop maker makes a laptop good enough, there might not be much of a performance difference between a laptop GPU constrained by thermals versus a GPU over a thunderbolt connection.
Linus: Yes we can reverse engineer it, but we might not have some 'quirks' worked out for manufacturing if we do that. So releasing just schematics is already a huge step.
thrilled to see framework is keeping their word and releasing an upgrade path. I see myself probably buying one in the next couple months!
That's another great way to tip Linus! XD
I've been eying framework's products as well, too poor for now but eventually probably.

Always been a fan of TwiT, but the WAN show had become my weekly go-to for tech news👍

Love the response from Linus and Luke to the person saying they're going for their PHD but started watching since they were a freshman in high school. haha
Oh my ... 3:15 ... This is exactly what I though of. Mounting it to a secondary screen or to a projector would be the great.
i have a internet company that limits how many devices can be on my wi-fi. to get more device slots i have to pay for a higher tier package. i have no idea of the logic behind that. this nickel and dime stuff really needs to be legislated
i also can't cap my data. i get 1TB as part of my package. if i go over i have to pay for every so many GB i use after that. by my calculations it can be up to $200 for another 1TB. i asked them to cap my data so that when it ran out i would just stop getting internet and they said they don't do that
if you've got the money and are willing to go through the hassle, you can replace the router with your own one to get around their artificial limit and set your own cap
Luke: "i deeply offended"
Linus: *LOL* "i know, right...?"
That 7-9% bond mentioned is only for up to $10,000 worth and you have to hold it for at least a year or up to 5 to avoid penalties
That is pretty typical for bonds.
guys, your show always make me laugh!! love your content❤️
The moment at 33:13 needs to be turned into a meme “He’s Not Poor!”
I totally believe they're working on day one applicants. I had mine in within the first ten minutes of launch, maybe sooner, and I only got it two weeks ago. I didn't get my order in faster only because I had to keep refreshing when it crashed.
"No hot takes"- claims Bulbasaur is the best starter.
it is!
All first-gen starters are equally good ngl
venasaur has aged the best into current gens, so tanky,
Please make a video of upgrading your framwork laptop and then build something cool with the old board. = )

I like how at the begining of every podcast Linus says he wont have any hot takes and by the end he's basicly a fire with the hot takes

I need to know more about the speed build where luke wore a horse head.(1:35:36) Does anybody know where I can watch that?
Thanks for another good WAN show!
Linus: "Do we actually own anything anymore?"
World Economic Forum: not if we can help it...
Your not free and it's not your life, stay sheep
Well... at least we'll all be happy.
Please make a video about how noticeable the differences between Headphone Amps/Dacs are.
I would love that as I'm thinking about investing in some more audiophile-grade gear
Oh my !!!!
Linus angered by "cost-saving" Luke is hilarious!!!!!
And a throwing/ "sharing" a lot of laptops ??????
Hilarious!!!!!
Dolby Theater will rock your socks.
I really wish framework will make an AMD Ryzen based unit when they come to Australia.

Playing the new Lego Star Wars in my element feel like a kid again but following the cash shop front just having a game where you get to try unlock everything rather than pay to win/unlock is a great feeling!
Was watching stream live then it just cut off on floatplane
I was suddenly unsubscribe on FP 😔
@@ewanbiesinger7667 rip. I was trying to ask a question and was never answered rip
The chat told me floatplane was superior…
@Linus you say no laptop manufacturers have schematic available, yet Ive got my clevo schematics right here. Granted, medium effort is required to dig them up as they dont officially give them out to customers, but its not too hard to get your hands on a service manual for ANY clevo laptop. If you're skilled enough to be able make the schematics useful you should have no problem getting your hands on them
Yea Linus really does have an amazing team of people it's crazy how people think he's some kind of slave driver or something.
28:00 is exactly what a bad boss would say right? 🤣
Linus, for the velvet please please please make sure to check with a legit company for the fire safety. It’s really no joke.
the new camera angles are sick
Ive’s point was that Apple no longer has a focus on innovation and instead of growing the business.
Will Apple sacrifice the iPhone by making it redundant with a new product? They used to operate by a mantra of killing their own products.
I don't know if they'll ever become something huge, but I love their design and I will get one when I have the moneys. I would love if they had a Ryzen model, but seeing they're following through on the upgradable path I'm in for buying what's available now and changing out the motherboard later.
Linus completely missed the point of Elon getting Twitter to prove how many bots are on the platform. It's not like he doesn't know....
Luke, if you're a "boomer boy," I'm Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
I would assume that if a disc game is used to authorize download and play of the digital version of the game, then that disc would need to be present in some way every time the game is played, even if that means the use of an external drive or linked older console.
Ryzen 6000 is RDNA 2. Current gen, not next gen. RDNA 3 will be out this year. @Linus
