i mean... it's not that hard, especially since the violinist took care of the melody. the violin part was much better than the piano part. but to be honest, it got the job done, and the main focus was meant to be on the violin anyway, so it's ok

I can't be the only one who hates the fact that the violin sounds so incomplete without the piano. But the piano can sound like an entire wonderful orchestra.
But honestly I think piano is better and maybe easier for me. My best friend goes to musicschool and she studies the piano. While I study violin. And I really like that piano is easier and also I need to learn sometimes songs on piano.

Just don't flatter people as it won't really help in their improvement. Though I'm not disagreeing that she's a great violinist. This kind of performance is good for a 15 y.o. Hey , I am 25 and i want to learn the violin .. i am starting my classes this week .. How long it will take till i become as good as this amazing violinst ?!! Thank you ..
it depends on the person, really. For instance, my older brother played for 6 years and didn't get very good because he'd only practice for about a half an hour every day, and skip some days. In contrast, a girl from my old high school got to this level in about 4 and a half years after practicing every day for 1 to 2 hours, making sure not to skip a day. In short, it really depends on how much time you have. The violin is a very difficult thing to learn in the beginning, but it is extremely rewarding. I just started a few days ago myself, and it sure is hard; but I want it more than anything. It takes 10,000 hours to absolutely master something; that's ~1.7 hours every day for 15 years, ~2.8 for 10 years. Gotta start some time, ammaright?
Hands down the best interpretation I've heard ma'am. (and rest assured I've heard many.) I can tell you relate to the soul of the piece when you play. Many are mechanical interpretations and the robotic nature of play comes out in the work. You bear your soul. (metaphorically speaking.)
