I think Vader's part is done. Look, for as much hate as Kenobi gets, the show allowed him to already know Vader was Anakin Skywalker, and allowed Leia to know that Ben Kenobi was also Obi-Wan. To be honest, before Kenobi knowing Anakin was Vader without him ever saying he was Vader in ROTS didn't make much sense. That was the purpose of the season as well as allowing Obi-Wan to let go of the Jedi way of training from birth, and it was worth it. That's done, the arc between them is closed. Anything else will be keeping Luke out of trouble with some reflection. Reva's served her purpose, she's unlikely to be involved anymore. Maybe she makes an appearance in the last Jedi game, but i think she's going to disappear and not come back.
@TheCloneTrooperJedi But nothing will be able to measure up to Vader as the antagonist, so what will the show build up to? The only thing that could hope to match is was Maul, which would be great, but the show Rebels have already established the final encounter with Maul.
It might be best for it to be a one-off.

I don’t think we’ll see Liam Neeson as a force ghost, but maybe we’ll hear him at least. It’s cheaper for Disney to do a voice over, than paying him to drop by for 10-15 minutes of work, create a blue CGI glow around him and make him transparent.
I also think I remember an interview where he said he has no interest in doing anything else Star Wars and that was just a favour to Ewan
@@ross5356 he can always ask for another favor, they’re friends. Besides, I don’t think we’ll see him anymore, but maybe hear him one last time because maybe he wants to cross over and become one with the Force.
If you watched Top Gun Maverick, Iceman and Maverick had a little time together in that movie, and he was gone, and fans loved that. We should at least get a voice over of Qui-Gon saying goodbye. That’s what I would do anyway. He’s important and has vast knowledge of the Force.

Well in the first season, Vader had an AI voice that was developed to be used in the event of Jones' passing.

Although that is “Good News” and “Why I am here”… I hope they consider another trilogy that returns to the Clone Wars that has the narrative follow peripheral characters like Quinlan Vos and A’Sharad Hett. Those guys are interesting AF!

I got my Darth Vader battle damaged black series from Obi-wan signed yesterday by Hayden at LA ComicCon! Also got Rosario to sign my Ahsoka black series on Friday.

As someone who loved the first season I’m 100% in on this. Just don’t have him leave Tattooine, or set it mostly in the Clone Wars and focus on Kenobi’s character then, learning to let go of Anakin being his Padawan and letting him be a Knight. Then include flash forwards of him learning with Qui-Gon in between season 1 and ANH.
(Also I’m not a Disney drone, I disliked BOBF and Mando season 3, and hated Acolyte once it became apparent what they were doing.)

I'm hoping that this could lead into a Vader movie, one split between the Sith Lord and the Jedi General we all know and love.
I think Reva needs a cool mask/helmet to make her more intimidating. I think that was one of her main problems. She wasn't scary, I knew Obi Wan would beat her, and her connection to Obi Wan is rigged at best.
Or just replace her with Commander Cody.
I think the issue with Reva is the fact that Vader was also there. They had to make her seem less intimidating then Vader so as a result, she isn't a character with a ton of screen presence.
Can they actually age Obi Wan this time? I mean he didn’t look a day aged in the TV series at all. He should look halfway between Ben Kenobi in ANH and Ewan’s portrayal in ROTS.
I REALLY hope Ewan’s desire to do clone wars flashbacks with Hayden leads to a live action Clone Wars adaptation (mostly key episodes of course)

Now that James Earl Jones has passed away, I wonder if we'll ever see (or rather, hear) Darth Vader again?
I liked what they did with mixing his voice with Hayden's, when Vader's mask was ruined in the Obi Wan series.
I only want a season 2 of Kenobi under the condition they quickly wrap up the Reva side plot in one or two episodes and introduce a Commander Cody side plot with Temura.

When we saw that episode of Ahsoka, we all knew in our hearts that we wanted to see live action Star Wars set in the Clone Wars era. I am pleased to hear this news.
I love it when actors want something and later they come up with a script around it, it always turns out very competent and coherent, and oozes with passion instead of greed!
They really didn’t learn their lesson the first time.

I’m one of those strange people that liked the Obi Wan show, but i dont think there is a story to tell there. They would have to go flashback with it, but why would you then not just watch the Clone Wars?
If there’s a season two, I’ll watch it, but I don’t really think it’s necessary. I’d rather see. Some type of horror based Star Wars show set in the unknown regions with starweirds being one of the main threats

Kenobi had a lot of good moments and episodes. With a tighter script and better pacing, I think Kenobi season 2 could be great.

I actually liked the first season. The fan-edits are always vast improvements, so absolutely, give us a season 2.
What would be really brilliant though is if it focused on his training to obtain the ability to become a Force-Ghost. Yoda had a wonderful storyline following Jinn’s voice; Kenobi could have a similar journey into the Force.
I want Kenobi to roam the galaxy looking for his brother, helping people, dispensing wisdom, and hunted by the Empire, like Kwai Chang Caine in the original Kung Fu TV show, roaming the American West looking for his brother, helping people, dispensing wisdom, and hunted by the Chinese emperor.
As much as i like this show and this news i can only see it happening if it takes place about 7 years later where it shows obi wan is trying to find out why hes getting strange visions then learns they are coming from maul and we get that rebels scene in live action.
If this happens, Disney must enlarge the budget and have better camera workers

What do they have left to ruin with season 2? Have hom travel to the Death Star but not letting anyone know?
they could end it recreating the duel with Maul from Rebels. Use CGI to cross his face with Guiness' at the end like how they blended Hiddleston & Grant's faces at the end of Loki season 2. IDK, just spitballing. Or just end it right before that scene to avoid retreading and end the season with him hearing "KENOBIIIIII!!!!!" in the distance.
Not sure how I feel. No more darth Vader and Obi wan fights though.
I really hope they get child Leia’s character involved again. And have a lot more scenes of her outrunning henchmen that want to abduct her. And maybe tie lots of things together that don’t need to be and don’t make sense. Like child Leia has an encounter with Lando’s totally compliant and happy droid, and Leia is the one that convinces the droid that she should strive for equality, even though adult Leia never cared about that at all. I’m excited already!

If they did this, it would need to be a very simple and grounded show with most of the action being in the flashbacks. If Obi Wan did some big adventure/mission again it would just seem forced.

The only way this could work is if they adapt the legends novel and keep him in tatooine.
I just hope that, if a season 2 happens, they don’t go deep on Leia and Luke’s teenage years. Though they were both 19 in “a new hope”, I believe that they shouldn’t tell too much about the Skywalker twins. Because then they would go directly into the plot of ANH.
As much as I want this, I feel like a season two wouldn't really make any sense. Because we already saw him in Rebels watching Luke from the shadows. What else could they show us, I mean flashbacks would be awesome but I don't know what else they could show besides that. If they do it right, I won't say anything.
I think if it does happen, I would have it set during the clone wars so that it doesn’t makes things confusing when it leads up to a new hope. But it’s Disney there definitely going to ignore my idea
As long as Obi Wan and Vader don't fight again and we dont see Reva, it could work. There's plenty of danger on Tatooine to keep Obi Wan busy and I'm keen to see more Ewan, Hayden, Owen Lars and little Leia
Here's how I think Season 2 could go:
Episode 1:
The season opens a couple of years after Season 1 with a montage of Obi Wan and Qui-gon training. Qui Gon tells Obi Wan about how he became a force ghost and how Obi Wan will one day have to sacrifice himself and do the same. He is concerned by the thought of this. The episode ends with Qui Gon sending Obi Wan on a quest to Mortis (where Qui Gon first appeared as a force ghost).
Episode 2:
On Mortis, Obi Wan must go through the trials of the Force Priestesses so they can determine if he is worthy of learning the secrets of retaining his consciousness after death. Initially he fails the final trial and is not considered worthy because he is unable to accept that he has to sacrifice himself.
Episode 3:
At some point Obi Wan ends up running into Commander Cody, who tries to kill him due to still trying to execute Order 66. Obi Wan spends the rest of the episode avoiding Commander Cody.
Episode 4:
Obi Wan fries Commander Cody's chip somehow. They have a happy reunion scene and Cody apologises for Order 66. Of course Obi Wan forgives him. At the end of the episode, Cody asks for Obi Wan's help with something.
Episode 5:
Obi Wan helps Cody with whatever it is he needs help with.
Episode 6:
At some point Cody has to sacrifice himself to save Obi Wan. This teaches him a valuable lesson and he returns to Mortis to complete the final Trial of the Force Priestesses. This time, he succeeds and is told the secrets of retaining his consciousness after death. The season ends with him mourning Cody and then returning to Tatooine. Maybe he visits Owen, Beru and Luke at some point but this time just seeing Luke as a friend rather than a potential future padawan.
Post Credits Scene:
Darth Maul is looking for Obi Wan. This leads into Season 3, which is basically 'Star Wars: Rebels' from Obi Wan's point of view. It ends with the Obi Wan vs Darth Maul fight.

Better idea, reboot the series into the amazing Trilogy that was originally considered. Star Wars Theory did an interview recently with the original creator and the ideas he had for the trilogy were so good it’s a crime what we got instead

They should make an adaptation of Krayt instead of making him a Sith Make him a pretender Sith Like Mual was because the Sith Died With Palpatine and His final death in episode 9 sets that in stone because Palpatine stated the Sith did die. “Nothing will stop the return of the Sith”
They should show Obi Wan learning from Qui Gon and Maybe finding Krayt along the way as a cameo and maybe the main villain is a dark side cult that wanted to take Luke and use him
