One of my designers advised to mix half the wall color with half white. That gives a cohesive effect.

I am a Construction Manager and have been seeing a ton of black ceilings however the ceilings are at least 10 ft and limited to corridors/hallways in multi-family communities. For my home I’m stuck in the safe flat ceiling white zone.

I gave in and let my decorator paint my ceilings and I hate them. They make me feel claustrophobic. That said, it just might be the colour/techinique that she used. I can hardly wait to redecorate.
