DMZ is still the best mode in COD. If all they did was add the MWIII mechanics and reset the missions, that would be more than enough. And yes Al Mazrah is the best map.
Still the best game mode COD has ever put out. Nothing is as adrenaline pumping as fighting a 6(4) man while dealing with bots and other teams 3rd partying. They recently turned the bots way up. I think they’re mad at their numbers for MW3. So they have to take it out on the MW2 community.
They haven’t changed the spawn points in 2 seasons so even the new players know where everyone spawns and immediately pushes from the moment the game starts

for me personally it was the option of how to play, do missions while being a hunted or you hunt random players and also be careful of ai bots. Plunder is really only for those who prefer pvp, while many others like to play against bots and players with random encounters. They should have really brought dmz into MW3 mechanics and their player numbers would have went up. I been playing for 3 months now and sniping is on high lol. Nothing worse than you stop for a sec and boom you get hit out of nowhere and you look and see that glint, crazy
It's debatable but just me and my teammates's pov. One of the points is the age issue. Let's say me and my team are mostly between 26-45 with a few teenagers 15-19. There is no doubt that the younger you are the quicker you react when you are facing some unexpected action. We usually let the youngest do the Breachers as they have a quicker reaction than us in most of the time. We (working, dating or taking care of the family) don't have too much time to play and some of us can only enjoy the game once a week. It's difficult to build up some teamwork for intensive battles like WZ or transitional PvP. These PvP skills need time to practice and not to mention the network latency is also a matter... We only have 1 chance in DMZ or else we need to spend time to find our mission items and the gear we need. I agree that our skill level may not be as good as you guys in PvP or WZ but in DMZ we may have a chance to compete with you guys We have to be aware of the surrounding area. Study the AI behavior. Planning our escape route etc. We can even set up an ambush point where we can hunt the other aggressive squad. Or we lead them into an area filled with T3 AI and then we can decide to counter attack or Exfil. Even the map is the same but the players are different. Every time is a new experience. Just like what did Forrest Gump's mom once said. “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get.” If you are very concerned about the WL or KD then you may be having a hard time understanding the joy when we successfully hunt the other teams or surviving from the hunted are something that a WZ/ Traditional PvP cannot describe. Other words of saying, we low skills in said competitive game modes won't stay a chance but in DMZ we somehow find a way to have some fun. Just one more thing...lots of players abandoned MWIII but coming back into DMZ...I think this said a lot but I heard that Activision is extremely unhappy about this. So...DMZ lovers be aware that they may do something to us soon.

If they Just kept on doing updates like they do right now with the weekly updates and you get certain things in PVP on modern warfare three go for cameos and attachments and other stuff give something to grind for this was by far the best mode
DMZ is nothing but fully geared idiots hunting players. Not doing missions, not playing DMZ but instead playing warezone with free load outs. The game is dying. Every buy station and extraction is camped out and the only thing people do is hunt players so new people trying to do missions and get gear are toast.
I just adapted to the new stile before I like to go around find good loot and extract but after Manny times been killed for players I start doing the same I hope dmz come back on the future
I love DMZ and I’m unhappy that they killed it by not fixing little things and updating. I know they’re experimenting with zombies, but I miss this mode. I barely play it only because I’m a completion that I like to beat everything because there’s a new game or more focused But playing zombies doing that grind makes me miss DMZ more but as soon as I get everything done with zombies, I’ll play more DMZ just for the thrill you might live you might die. Find nice people you got bad people you might have to start all over again I love the grind, I’m currently haven’t played it for a few weeks

Other day a squad mate quit left me and another player, he got took out and literally the whole match they stood waiting for me to get him. I went ard the map doing things to kill time and come back and they still were there till radiation spread and I had to leave

I loved dmz, from the minute it came out. But have stopped playing as much. Adding 15 minute bundles and things like uav packs just ruined it. Noone cared after that so it turnt pvp central. Dont get me wrong, i like pvp as much as the next person. But when its constantly pvp it just becomes silly. Trying to do missions and just having the death squads is not fun. But hopefully they remake it WITHOUT the 15 minute bundles and free equipment packs!
I wouldn't know how it feels now, I quit playing. I got so tired of having to scan every single rooftop to make sure I'm not going to get sniped instead of being able to do any work that I just moved to zombies. And before everybody in the comments tells me how that's the game, your intitled to your option just like me. If that's how the majority wants to play that's fine just ruined it for me. I don't mind PVP but it's real lame when I have to spend the entire match scanning rooftops and getting zero real work done. I'd honestly like to see what the developers of this mode think of the state of it. But I think the fact that there's no new content or support kind of says it all
same, it quickly turned into a place for people to go who did not like playing with gas at their backs in warzone. just look at how many "missions" were completed during this video, his guy said it best on the ride to the train, (im not really doing any missions) . . .so if your not doing missions then there is only one other thing to do and that is start with full intention of engaging every player you see. just go to warzone, even the developers understood there was no point in having two large map pvp modes.
If you play Ashika Island it gets very weird, as your about to kill an player your screen suddenly freezes and next thing you know, your brown bread! DmZ has been abandoned in my eyes and its a crying shame because its a good platform. Like pubg but better! Or it was 😔

i'm sure i'll get hit with the "skill issue" comments for having this opinion but this style of hyper-aggressive gameplay is what's ruining the game whether you're solo or not. that mixed with the fact you can't assimilate a 6 man team anymore. the PVE elements of this game are damn-near pointless because all anyone cares about is sniping you from across the entire map and won't bother with any of your loot. prox chat has no real impact because the enemy team will just shit talk and abuse you rather than negotiate and be friendly. not sure why these people don't just play warzone. sure, the gameplay is impressive but when i get off work at 10-11pm to chill and play some DMZ these are the types of fuckers that ruin my night and leave me going to bed in a bad mood. "then why don't you play a different game? cod isn't chill" you're right, but DMZ used to be way different than it is in this video.
MW2 is definitely the best of the rebooted Modern Warfare series. Look at how clean the graphics are! And the gameplay is definitely more on point to a what a game like this suppose to be. Infinity Ward is by far the better studio to accomplish this. MW1 and MW3 are way too arcade to be better than MW2. I will die on that hill!

i refuse to play mw3 tried it like 3 times 1 just to see the new guns. they all look like the hemlock i will say i do like the canted option with having to use a laser 3 neva happened only played twice during the free trail

I watch your content but honestly, players like you are what ruined the game mode. The game was made for you to grind for your 3 plate and large backpack instead of jacking someone else’s. The devs kept trying new ways to get players to do that by adding the barter system and work benches. That’s why 3 plates disappeared after time and devs even momentarily stopped you from taking someone else’s large backpack. It was made to work towards mission objectives against bots and real players and extract successfully. Players like you ruined the game for the intentions that devs created it for. It was a failed project. Players that like it just for the PVP, just want to feel cracked out because they can’t handle the 100+ lobby like Warzone offers. I loved DMZ. But the truth is the truth. Fake try hard trolls ruined it for the ones that enjoyed it the way it was meant to be enjoyed.
I might be wrong but I myself have never seen you do a mission. I always saw videos where all you do is hunt players claiming to make el mazarah safe by getting rid of campers. Which is kind of ironic. Because that’s how the devs left it. That’s all there is to do now. Why would devs work on a game mode where nothing they implement gets used. So much work got put into it, so many rewards were given. Yet everyone just wanted to hunt. So, here you go lol. Go hunt and get nothing for it.

I enjoy the fact there's a mix of fighting bots and players, this map really keeps you dialed in.

I watch your content but honestly, players like you are what ruined the game mode. The game was made for you to grind for your 3 plate and large backpack instead of jacking someone else’s. The devs kept trying new ways to get players to do that by adding the barter system and work benches. That’s why 3 plates disappeared after time and devs even momentarily stopped you from taking someone else’s large backpack. It was made to work towards mission objectives against bots and real players and extract successfully. Players like you ruined the game for the intentions that devs created it for. It was a failed project. Players that like it just for the PVP, just want to feel cracked out because they can’t handle the 100+ lobby like Warzone offers. I loved DMZ. But the truth is the truth. Fake try hard trolls ruined it for the ones that enjoyed it the way it was meant to be enjoyed.
I might be wrong but I myself have never seen you do a mission. I always saw videos where all you do is hunt players claiming to make el mazarah safe by getting rid of campers. Which is kind of ironic. Because that’s how the devs left it. That’s all there is to do now. Why would devs work on a game mode where nothing they implement gets used. So much work got put into it, so many rewards were given. Yet everyone just wanted to hunt. So, here you go lol. Go hunt and get nothing for it.
