  • Hillel Neuer appears on i24 news to discuss U.N. chief Guterres' statements that seem to justify the October 7th Hamas attacks: “For the U.N. chief Guterres to say that Hamas‘ mass murder, rape, mutilation & torture of more than 1300 men, women and children, young and old, ‘did not happen in a vacuum’-his attempt to contextualize and justify Hamas-is inexcusable.”

He also spoke of 56 years of choking occupation. To clarify - Israel pulled out of Gaza in 2005. In addition, before 1967 Gaza was occupied by Egypt, and before Egypt by Britain, and before the British by the turkeys… the guy certainly seem to have some fixation on Israel… shame on you UN.

The problem is that they didn't really pull out in 2005, they just moved to the border, and then prevented anything from entering and leaving Gaza without their approval. They had to smuggle buiilding supplies and other things through tunnels between gaza and the Rafah border. They had to dismantle most of the greenhouses because they couldn't keep it running since Israel wouldn't let it's trucks pass the border to move up into europe to sell it's produce. James Wolfherson himself reported on that, but the rumour that they just raided it is still circulating.

Last year an Indian woman called Nupur sharma said, in a debate to a muslim man who called her a pagan and insulted her gods "should i start telling the world what ur prophet who was 56 years old did to a 6 year child" . For that Islamists in India went on a rampage and started shouting "death to nupur, cut head of nupur" slogans in broad public. and killed 5 hindus in return. Islamic countries issued a demarche to india and called this BLASPHEMY
And guess what this Gutteres said "India should be careful not to offend sentiments of muslims"

Shame on the UN. Not just for this. But the steps that they have taken that has led us here. If they had the same contempt for Palestinian agression as they had for Israels defence. Then we would not be here. Its a disgrace.

75 years? For your lack of knowledge 75 years ago Jordan occupied Jude'a and Samaria while Egypt occupied Gaza. Who oppressed the palestines then other than other Arabs? After Israel conquered Gaza, Jude'a and Samaria - it negotiated with the palestines, gave them parts of Jude'a in Samaria in Oslo in the 90s, gave them the whole Gaza Strip in 2005 and offered 97% of Jude'a and Samaria in 2007. Who oppressed the palestines in Gaza since 2005 other than hamas? Who rejected all the peace offers they got other than the palestines? Who uses the civilian palestines as human shields other than hamas? And who uses the palestines as a political tool against Israel other than the Arabs?

It's beyond high time this alliance of global bigots gets dissolved, or *at a bare minimum,* subjected to a humongous overhaul that would result in some serious revisioning/adjustments regarding fair and objective reasoning/treatment of *all* nations; basically, that would see sanctions for demonstrable violators of human rights (China, Iran, Pakistan, etc etc) put in action...

    Suddenly, a War in Israel
In an abrupt and unsettling turn of events, the specter of war has descended upon Israel. From the morning hours, Israelis find themselves glued to a web of information sources, receiving constant news updates, and sharing their thoughts with family, neighbors and friends. A palpable sense of anxiety weighs heavily among Israel’s residents as Israel suddenly finds itself at war again.
Indeed, we had a major security lapse. It is a failure characteristic of our tendency to underestimate our adversaries and our lack of military readiness. However, we should not mistake this lapse for an isolated incident. It is rather a symptom of a deeper enduring malaise afflicting our nation.
The heated divisions in Israeli society of recent times have been recurring for 75 years, if not centuries and millennia. Today, as in the past, we find ourselves again completely missing the point when it comes to our role in the world, and the overblown ego within each and every one of us intensifies our division.
Israel-i.e., the people of Israel-is a nation founded on the timeless principle, "love your neighbor as yourself." Whenever we stray from the path to unite above our divisions, letting our connections become polluted with mutual animosity, we invite tragedies upon ourselves.
It is worth asking, then, what else could we expect? By letting hatred relentlessly accumulate toward each other, how could we think that hatred would not also surface toward us? This enmity clings to us like an unshakeable specter. The demonstrations of hatred in Tel Aviv, and all of our insults and the attempts to harm each other can only yield one outcome, for which we must all shoulder accountability. We need to acknowledge that we alone bear the responsibility for drawing these conflicts upon ourselves, as it is written, “No calamity comes to the world but for Israel” (Talmud Bavli, Yevamot, 63:1).
Our catastrophe is that we let the egoistic and divisive drives within each of us get the better of us, a sentiment King Solomon wisely cautioned against when he urged, "Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth” (Proverbs 27:1).
How can we avert more severe trials in the days ahead? It is by fostering humility and cultivating a genuine yearning for heartfelt connections today. As the text 𝘔𝘢𝘰𝘳 𝘷𝘢 𝘚𝘩𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘴𝘩 (𝘓𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘶𝘯)
attests, "The primary shield against calamity is love and unity. When love and unity prevail among the people of Israel, and they abstain from harming one another, calamity finds no foothold."
The pivotal factor for achieving a life of harmony and peace is our attitude to one another. We should hold no concerns or fears other than that of letting divisive drives overpower our motion to unite.
Everyone following the unfolding events would thus be wise to contemplate the deeper reasons behind the situation that has befallen Israel today. Only unity above division can lead us to a peaceful resolution, one that assumes paramount importance in these trying times.
