Découvert sur le plateau des victoires de la musique. Une vraie claque, la voix, le piano enfin un vrai artiste à suivre et à écouter en boucle.
L'âme qui paraît par le biais de sa voix est d'une force et d'une profondeur saisissante, je crois que c'est ça qui fait de lui un artiste singulier et si puissant. Il touche au bon endroit, au coeur.
La force de la voix et du piano ! C'est absolument captivant !

Anyone else feel this guy is so close to perfection - but there's something missing. Maybe that's what is most intriguing about his performances.. Maybe it would benefit from a little more syncopation.

Amazing. He actually has a more conventionally stylistic singing voice, but he doesn't use it so much in his own songs, which are more raw and less "gilded". His use of drama and theatrics is powerful, but it doesn't come across as made up. It's almost as if he's making a sarcastic joke and the joke is on you if you don't humble yourself and submit to the irony. And what's the irony? ...That a young man, who would be otherwise dismissed, without material wealth or who brandishes none of the superficial accouterments that the world generally thinks of as symbols of value and power can, by his music, grip you in a place hidden from yourself and bring the catharsis you've thirsted for but didn't know where to find.

Non certains sont fait pour écrire de beaux textes et d'autres pour les chanter... A par Brassens ou Brel je ne voie pas qui d'autre a réussi à faire les deux...
+Flye me to The moon pour qui vous prenez-vous pour dire ça? il n'y a pas seulement Brel et Brassens comme chanteurs qui ont existé sur cette terre, et qui je pense vous ont plu? la chanson est sublime, tout comme la voix de Benjamin, et la critique est bien facile quand on ne sort pas de sa petite bulle de classiques.
