Her version was also received so well in the music community at-large, that I have seen a number of bands and solo singers cover her version.
Queen, in allowing her to copyright this version, was following through on Freddy's quote that "if you are going to cover us, at least make it interesting". Boy howdy, did she succeed in that task!!

The first 1000 times I watched this video it made the tears flow in admiration of her skills in touching one's soul, now I am able to just feel upliftment at the unique talent she has! A Million Miles studio version ( self penned tribute ) is beautiful. " Summertime from Norway's Got Talent is a true Gem. Love you have found AJ.
I believe the show was taped in the October-November 2019 time frame and first aired on January 6th, 2020. Angelina, a 13 year old in her element! She rearranged Queen’s iconic song and just kills it. Remaining members of Queen praised her rendition and allowed her to copyright it. Just think she starts out a cappella and slides in at perfect pitch, just an amazing young lady! Would highly recommend going back to her Norway’s Got Talent all four songs with closed captions on! Then look at her at 10 years old performing Feeling Good-in door version. Her 2022 studio versions of Suspicious Minds. AGT The Champions. She was invited because she had already won Norways Got Talent. Norwegian born Angelina Jordan began singing at the age of one and a half, and by age three was listening to jazz and classics legends on repeat. Her grandmother was her greatest influence, but Angelina chose her own path. Her first studio performance was at age 7, singing I Who Have Nothing. She won Norway's Got Talent at the age of only 8, singing old time classics from Billie Holliday and George Gershwin, and became one of the youngest ever vocalists to win an international Got Talent Show! Her performance at 9 years old of Screamin Jay Hawkins, I Put a Spell on You is considered one of the finest recordings ever of a 9-year-old vocalist! Angelina also went viral on America's Got Talent the champions in 2020 with her unique versions of Bohemian Rhapsody and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Angelina sings in English which unbelievably is her third language! She is a true prodigy.
She is now 18, and has recorded a huge library of songs, including covers and several originals. A major attraction to Angelina's music is the emotion and attitude she conveys, although she has not experienced the life events! She is known as the barefoot princess of 1,000 voices as she can adjust her tone, style, and register for any song or genre. She was signed by Republic Records when she was 14. She was not widely promoted for a few years, as her family wanted to allow her a normal childhood. However, things are changing rapidly as she has now graduated school. She has released two original music video singles from Republic Records, Love Don't Let Me Go, and Now I'm the Fool, coinciding with her new six song EP called Old Enough. Why does Angelina sing barefoot? The answer may bring a tear to your eye. It is related to a promise she made to herself and to the world when she was only 6 years old. She was traveling in the Middle East with her mom and grandmother and they came across a young orphan girl with no shoes and scarred feet. Angelina gave the girl her own favorite shoes. Angelina ask the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and she said a doctor, but she could not because she had to take care of her siblings. She asked Angelina the same question and Angelina said I want to sing for the world. The young girl said she would pray for Angelina. Since then, Angelia has forever performed barefoot as a reminder of all those less fortunate. At age 9 she wrote a book about this experience, Between two Hearts, becoming the youngest ever published author in Norway. She also has helped raise millions for children's charities. She even stated at 8 years old that she would be donating her winnings from Norway's Got Talent to charities. She is a special individual, and one you cannot follow without developing an emotional bond.
Angelina captures hearts because she is humble and has compassion for humanity. Her stated goal from childhood was to sing for the world and spread love and peace. AJ recorded 4 songs in that original studio that I've seen. Three are a bit rough but I Who Have Nothing is surprisingly good. I believe it is actually the latest in the group but was recorded on the first take hence the first time comment. Have heard she was 6 at the time and it was an after school program. Reading and singing at that level in a foreign language is truly extraordinary even if she was the ripe old age of 7.

Not only did Angelina get the golden buzzer from judge Heidi Klum, but she also received huge praise from the remaining members of the legendary Queen. Queen were delighted with Angelina's arrengement and shared it on Twitter with the words "WOW, what a rendition" (three years later they repeated their praise on TT in March 27th 2023 with the words "absolutely killed it".) What was unfortunately not to be seen here, all four judges came on stage to congratulate Angelina (very rarely). 👣💯 *AJ* 💯👣

The performance speaks for itself. For me, when everything is taken into account, it’s the best live performance I’ve ever seen. It’s a 13 year old, with her own incredible arrangement of an iconic song, singing before judges and a national TV audience. Her mesmerizing arrangement is stunning, soulful, and bluesy-with nowhere for her voice to hide. And she nails everything.
It’s not just her voice. Since early childhood, Angelina has had the musicality, presence, and confidence to take on the best singers singing their best songs-and she goes her own way with them. @@poolhallshark Like I've always said, it's not a competition. It is a show that looks like a contest and is presented as such, not with artists who have qualified for it, but with invited guests - some for very dubious reasons.
Participiants came from across the AGT and Got Talent franchise - including winners, finalists, semi-finalists, quarter-finalists, live round contestants (!) and other notable acts (!!!).
Of the 40 participants, only 12 were winners and of the 10 finalists, only Angelina (Norway), Marcelito (Phillippines) and the dog training girl (Germany) won in their country. Of the acts that "won" 1st - 3rd place in AGT The Champions 2, none were champions before.
so not really strictly winners ...

Great reaction. I realize you appear to be going chronologically into the Angelina rabbit hole, but I encourage you to step back to 10 years of age. "Feeling Good" really shows the transition taking place to the mature voice, as does the leaked demo "I'm Still Holding Out For You" . Then stepping forward again on the chronological path is an orginal. "Million Miles", a tribute to her grandfather who had passed away.
Then perhaps Adele's "Go Easy On Me"
These are some of my absolute favorites and some of her more famous performances, all for good reason.

Thanks for another great Angelina reaction Zack. This was the first performance I ever heard from Angelina, which was on January 6th, 2020. I was so blown away that I immediately started listening to everything of hers that I could find, and I have literally listened to her every day since then. I noticed that you wore headphones for Angelina's performance of Back to Black, but not I Put a Spell on You or Bohemian Rhapsody. FWIW, I have found that wearing headphones or earphones greatly enhances my experience when listening to Angelina because the of the subtleties and nuances in her voice and her singing. I look forward to your next reaction in your Angelina journey.
It was aired January 6th, 4 days before her birthday, but it was pre-recorded in 2019, sometime in the fall, I think in the late fall... So there where a couple of months between recording and airing her performance

Us boomers know whats good.😂 but really, i remember seeing Ella Fitzgerald when i was young on the b&w tv. I wanted to see her live but too old, i was too young. Now i have a chance to hear great jazz standards at the Ella level. Check out her version of Everytime We Say Goodbye, in her rooftop version. Wait til you see at what age. Enjoy it all

It was aired January 6th, 4 days before her birthday, but it was pre-recorded in 2019, sometime in the fall, I think in the late fall... So there where a couple of months between recording and airing her performance

lol at 13 she did the arrangement herself. But as you’re learning, the barefoot princess does all her arrangements. Well, not only did you like it the members of Queen liked it so much that they reached out to her. Told her it was the best arrangement I’ve ever heard, and released the copyrights to her. So obviously that tells you something. The barefoot princess is absolutely an angel sent from Heaven.

You may stay on the side at approx. 1/3 to 1/2 so WE can see your reaction as it progresses. But since I am a 'professional' having started with a Yashica Super 8 mm movie camera you should pay attention and listen to me !
