Garbage. I saw the title “A Fair wind” and was kind of hyped. This was one of my top songs I was hoping someone would port. However this port could have been done better. Hopefully someone more skilled will port it in the future 😢
I mean, to be fair it could have been done a little bit better. I personally have been a little unimpressed with the recent influx of amateur smw music ports flooding smw central in the past few years. Unfortunately the popularity increase of this game has only managed to tank the quality of the assets being posted online. It’s really disappointing to see a bunch of lame zoomers come in and infiltrate our community, thinking that they’re all hot stuff or whatever. There’s a reason there hasn’t been a good hack released since GPW1. Yes, you heard that right, even the sequels that Barb published were of significantly lower caliber, which I blame in part on the newer creators. However, it would be disingenuous of me to not recognize Barbs role in the downfall of smw, as well as other creators and players which have let down the community such as gpb, juz, panga, and countless others who have tainted the once pure title of Super Mario World

I’m not quite sure what the fits about. The port sounds beautiful and captures the song perfectly.
