Some aspects aint change or bring new role opportunity just becoming more dumb damage version of the original one (like Anhur,Neith and Chaac) So far I didn't like it, not creative enough. For Athena, changing ult ain't a game changer about her jungle role. You could've do something with dash for example. You could've do something with Ra's #2 instead of the ult. Also he has no hard cc so Ra not a valid supp but even if you try you'll all go for heal buffer items and magical power for scaling. Cuz for Objection securing Support Ra with some damage can be useful. And Now he still ain't have any hard CC and you taking away his objection securing too ? Danza and Morrigan is the only fun and "different aspect" ones.
Yah I’m gonna be real, that Chaac aspect seems ass. Chaac’s entire identity pretty much revolves around the sustain provided by rain dance. He is gonna be made of paper if you take that aspect. Like the damage has to be insane to make it remotely worth.
Nah the damage is bout to be crazy. Especially if it stacks. Then you can use gem of isolation to slow them either further
21 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
@ yah but you are gonna die in like 3 seconds because you have no other abilities to help keep you alive and you have 1 form of hard cc. That’s the problem. Like, the damage has to be ABSOLUTELY BUSTED to be even remotely worth considered. The healing it normally provides is insane and is the entire reason why chaac can take any dmg.
Just build more bulk. No different than any other warrior without sustain.
21 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
@@condorgaming4000 then what is the point of taking the aspect? Also, most other warriors without sustain have way more cc and defensive abilities. Chaac doesn’t have any of those cause of the absurd sustain rain dance provides.
He still gets slight sustain from his passive. He has CC with his ult and his slow. When all else fails he can throw his axe and run in a different direction. Then teleport to the axe if they commit to following him. I like the aspect, he's like a better odin
Ideas to improve Relics and/or Active Items: Make it so, like the aspect system here, you can either have 1 and 1, or 2 of the one while forgoing the other entirely. So if you want Phantom Shell AND Aegis, sure thing, BUT it’s back to a 6 item system for you for that match. OR if you want an 8 item build, that’s 2 starter items for you, at the cost of not having a relic to use that match.
As a solo queuer, having to play against a stack of stealthed players makes me cringe. Stealth and executes are just poor designs and do not belong in the game. I will die on this hill.
If they aren't designed for thorough 2 way counter play from the start it usually feels awful to fight and probably gets nerfed so that it feels mediocre to play too.
I feel like changing one ability isn't enough to really change a god enough for it to feel super impactful. I think it would feel more impactful if it changed two abilities or changed the passive and an ability.
I think it’s too early to say. MOBAs are always notoriously complex, adding a new mechanic like aspects already adds a new layer of complexity regardless of how many abilities it impacts. I don’t think there should be a set minimum or maximum for abilities impacted, instead I care more about the quality of each aspect.
@@funwalkthroughs1285 also, the more aspects you do and the more changing they bring to the god means that newer gods will be less original. I think changing only one ability is good enough, more would be too much.
Yeah like I can see something like: Bellona having her shield bash be a stun instead of a slow or her whip having the capability of grabbing/pulling someone thus losing the disarm effect. Anhur’s shifting sands with a tremble effect or a speed increase for him instead of a slow. His ult being a single harpoon that stuns and goes through the person he hits with it while also decreasing in dmg Hercules’ mitigate wounds being a power buff to him and his allies instead of a heal, his ult being a slow or a stun with its dmg decrease to give that support like feeling Athena’s dash being a knock back ability or a stun (only if charged up) removing the slow/mitgation she gets from it, her taunt being replaced with a bleed effect making her more of a scary brusier/jungler
This is way more interesting than letting every god use every item. Certain Items should be unique to classes, it makes them special. It is why rpg’s have always worked. Now if they changed the aspect and a couple items changed also it would be much better.

SMITE
Yah I’m gonna be real, that Chaac aspect seems ass. Chaac’s entire identity pretty much revolves around the sustain provided by rain dance. He is gonna be made of paper if you take that aspect. Like the damage has to be insane to make it remotely worth.
Nah the damage is bout to be crazy. Especially if it stacks. Then you can use gem of isolation to slow them either further
Ideas to improve Relics and/or Active Items:
Make it so, like the aspect system here, you can either have 1 and 1, or 2 of the one while forgoing the other entirely.
Then you can die dumber than most. Executes are based.
@@thedoomslayer5863 executes are a crutch for people with disabilities.
If they aren't designed for thorough 2 way counter play from the start it usually feels awful to fight and probably gets nerfed so that it feels mediocre to play too.
Apart from two of these the rest are just fluff. Maybe fun to mess around with one time but most of this will never be used otherwise.
I feel like changing one ability isn't enough to really change a god enough for it to feel super impactful. I think it would feel more impactful if it changed two abilities or changed the passive and an ability.
Yeah, but I have a better idea, why not make only one god but with 150 aspects, eh?
I think it’s too early to say. MOBAs are always notoriously complex, adding a new mechanic like aspects already adds a new layer of complexity regardless of how many abilities it impacts. I don’t think there should be a set minimum or maximum for abilities impacted, instead I care more about the quality of each aspect.
@@funwalkthroughs1285 also, the more aspects you do and the more changing they bring to the god means that newer gods will be less original. I think changing only one ability is good enough, more would be too much.
@@mcnuggeton5696 I agree! great input :)
Yeah like I can see something like:
Bellona having her shield bash be a stun instead of a slow or her whip having the capability of grabbing/pulling someone thus losing the disarm effect.
Anhur’s shifting sands with a tremble effect or a speed increase for him instead of a slow. His ult being a single harpoon that stuns and goes through the person he hits with it while also decreasing in dmg
Hercules’ mitigate wounds being a power buff to him and his allies instead of a heal, his ult being a slow or a stun with its dmg decrease to give that support like feeling
Athena’s dash being a knock back ability or a stun (only if charged up) removing the slow/mitgation she gets from it, her taunt being replaced with a bleed effect making her more of a scary brusier/jungler
This is way more interesting than letting every god use every item. Certain Items should be unique to classes, it makes them special. It is why rpg’s have always worked. Now if they changed the aspect and a couple items changed also it would be much better.
So now on top of everything else they have to do, they have to create basically two gods of the same god? Seems like too much for no reason.
It's nowhere close to creating 2 gods, it's probably more like 5-10% extra dev time for most aspects, maybe a tiny bit more for some.
Not the morrigan having more potential glitches
they should have taken cern's aspect on Medusa instead. I think it would have worked 1000 times better, and been really nice to play
Yeah she plays almost like a assassin anyway
first?
First, gottem

The blind is his 2 not his 1, the 'debuff' on his 1 is the entire damage of it which he will lose for this aspect.
@@Inters3ct yo mb, for some reason i thought it was referring to his 2.................... i have NOO idea why and ngl i feel like really dumb. so imma just edit the main comment to something random
@@enjaded7222 LMAO funny edit, but nah it's understandable cause the damage being considered a 'debuff' is kinda confusing.
@@Inters3ct no no, i literally looked at 'Vanish' and my head said 'thats his 2'. i wouldnt even understand myself on that one
Can't wait for this to bring more balancing problems and the illusion of choice
Oh so they looked at DOTA 2......not bad.
Doesn't sound very interesting. Yeah it may shake things up a little bit but will probably cause more problems. This sounds like its more aimed for more higher levels of play and might be too ambitious as a launch system. It looks good on paper but think that 90% of them will be utterly worthless with 10% breaking the game. I'm positive that some of the more popular gods are going to get some broken and interesting ones with the least popular gods getting completely shafted.
Videos are hard to watch never met someone who doesn’t use commas when they talk.
Man literally didn't use a comma in his own sentence when one was needed but is roasting me lmao
He’s baby girl tho
Ngl too many support shifts
Being one of the least played roles, it doesn't suprise me.
Support is in a horrible spot right now so this is definitely a good thing
Bro these clowns can't even balance existing shit but they just add random new shit constantly it's peak hilarity
They can’t both balance and do new ideas at the same time right now. They are adding first and balancing later for when the game is actually going to start coming out. Its just a process.
@@veloxicality yeah right that why we have so many balanced times in smite 1 atm
Ewww
This reveal has almost completely killed my interest in Smite 2 unfortunately. Aladdin better be cool.
Update: He is pretty darn cool.
why?
@@dragneel2782He doesn't even know
Can something just not be for me? It’s not like I said this will kill the game. In fact it will surely be good for it. Just not the direction I wanted to see.
@@Cutter-o5f what direction did you want to see?
Terrible confusing idea
I think it’s gonna be sweet
I think you’re just dense af if you really are confused.
@@whiteysmit6653Why would you confuse people as to what version of a character they are playing against? Just makes the game harder to learn, and trust me the average Smite player is already terrible. Smite is a MOBA where no one pre masters knows the map exists. Adding character variation just seems like added fluff especially because one version will always be better than the other for 90% of the champs. Will probably be fun for casual trolling, I won’t argue that
Genuinely not a fan of this idk kinda overcomplicates the game unnecessarily I'd rather they just add a league esque system of choosing your runepage before game if they wanted to add more customization
You’re dense.
This seems dumb and ridiculous. I don't know why they just refuse to just make a good solid moba.
Wah wah wah
Being innovative is dumb and ridiculous? Smites been dying for years. Very slowly. Remaking smite 1 to 1. Is a lot of money, for a dead game
@@RJ........... smite has been dying for years because they keep adding stuff like this. Their moba core have silently moved on so now all they can do is appeal to this weird space of players that want to play a game like smite but isn't actually a moba. Smite doesn't need need innovation it needs to decide if it's going to be a moba or not.
@@lordmew5How is Smite dying because they add new things?
Also, what the hell do you mean "decide if it's a MOBA or not"? It absolutely is, but it's also always been different from League and DotA
@@Yoshyguy21 where did I say smite is dying because they are adding new things?
Smite should be different by a slightly different map and buffs and different items not by removing boots so the so the game lacks what should be a solid length early game that shows you know how to properly farm and play in a lane
Can't wait to see the insane amount of copium when smite 2 flops.
Can't wait to see u log on and put thousands of hours in and feel stupid for being a weird hater.
Smite 2 will succeed
If smite 2 flops, hirez dies and if hirez dies then smite 1 dies.
